Week Two Of The Eight - On The Road Again

Inspired by #sublimesunday a tag from @c0ff33a and #beautifulsunday (hosted by @ace108) plus a beautiful day of Sunday!
How can you make a beautiful Sunday when you're away from home ... but not on vacation?
Now I can really say it is a holiday, mini-vacation because it's weekend.

Eight weeks away from home in Iasi! There's been six of them now. Iasi is a very beautiful city in Romania, four hundred kilometers away from Bucharest, the capital of Romania and my residence. Also from Iasi to the place where I grew up and where my mother and brother live are a hundred kilometers!
That makes it absolutely normal for me to visit my mom and remind me of childhood places!

On The Road Again

We are approaching to the northern city where I grew up. At the entrance to the city there are some serpentines ... even the little town is seen.

We have a little walk to the mother's house. There is the edge of the city in an area flooded with greenery.

The first to meet us is the youngest member of the family. Only eighteen months old. Happy and a little shy!

The Romanians are hospitable people. The first thing they do when you visit them is to invite you to eat with them. Even if you are a relative or a stranger. Of course that was what we expected and we were very happy to be together. Unfortunately the distance between the places where we live and the lack of time makes us see rarely.
On the right side, my mother. Within a few days she is 85 years old. She is the main reason we are here!

At the table is the most enjoyable place to stay with relatives or friends. We talk, we say jokes and we enjoy each other!

We are all glad that we are together and have fun because of the youngest of us, my nephew Justin.
Of course he is bored with us and leaves to play elsewhere ... not far from us. It keeps us under observation ...

The food is good, we cannot stop eating!

Meanwhile, it started to rain. That's what happens in these places, in the north and quite close to mountains and forests. The weather is changing fast ... I like that, it was part of my childhood, too.

The rain was strong and short, only a quarter of an hour! How wonderful to sit on the terrace and see the rain. To hear the rain, to smell the rain ... to feel the rain!

After the rain, everything is cleaner, more beautiful ... brighter!

The rain stopped and I had the biggest surprise. It seemed like nature was glad I came home. At the childhood home!

The Rainbow

I was rewarded with a rainbow...

...then the sun came out again.

Children's joy! They ran quickly to play ... the little one, of course. Moments to be photographed.

When it's good and pleasant the time passes very fast ...it flies! Unfortunately, we have to go home to our temporary home in Iasi.

On the way again but in the opposite direction.

It was nice to see my mom, relatives and places where I grew up. It was beautiful ... it was sublime!

The rainbow was the surprise of the day. I cannot let it go like this without a very beautiful song!

This post is about a day in my life. Someone may wonder why I share something so personal! I believe that only in this way people everywhere from countries and cultures so different can get to know each other better. Understand habits and way of life!

Such a wonderful day, you literally do have the best days every single one of your posts I have read is an amazing journey. I adore that little boy peeking out from the front of the care - he is so cute!

And what a feast you shared, a wonderful group meeting so much good wholesome home prepared food and everyone having a wonderful time.

The rainbow is stunning - superb photo you really did great to capture it completely that way.

I love your new tag #myordinaryday I hope you continue with it and you will have to let me know if it is an anyday sort of post or a special day you want them posted?

Whichever way, I love it and wish you well! Of course, I will shout it out!

As for your day, oh! What a blessing to be able to see your mom and be together with family. I am so far away from mine right now, but, every chance I get, I run home to where I grew up. My mother and everyone I knew was exactly that way. If you came to the door, they must feed you. LOL Your family feels warm, even on the pages of this post. Thank you for sharing these moments with us. You are right. It shares cultures and I am all for that. A continued effort for understanding.

I was afraid you would not read this post. Thanks for doing it. I had to know your opinion about my intention to launch a new challenge. Without your help I can not succeed. I think that any challenge is ultimately a source of inspiration for posts, a help for everyone. Therefore, this challenge I want to be unrestricted, every day or even several times a day. Be a helper when we do not have what we post.
I will do a job as soon as I can explain everything. Thanks again for your promise of help. I'm counting on this!

I apologize, I did not understand well what you said. You can do whatever you think is right, I'm totally open to it. If you want, we can share this tag and work together for it ... if you would like that and have time. I have a few ideas to make it a bit special ... for example: to do one post once a week to mention all the posts in this challenge (with a small description of each). I will share all the winnings of this post with those who will vote it or with those listed inside... I think of a rewarding method that attracts more participants. I do not know yet if it's the best thing but I'll think ... if I make a challenge I want to take care of it as you do with #marketfriday ...
