How to Transfer EOS from MEW and Sell at an Exchange

The information below only applies if you've already stored EOS in MyEtherWallet (MEW) and looking to cash out on an exchange.

As for this guide, I will use Kraken as the example.

1. Generate an address for EOS deposit on Kraken.
   Login to Kraken,
   Go to Funding > Deposit > EOS (EOS),
   Select and copy the EOS address.
   

2. Send EOS from MyEtherWallet.
   Login to MEW,
   Click Send Ether & Tokens on the ribbon,
   Paste the address copied from Kraken,
   on Amount to Send, scroll down the bar to select EOS*.
   (Warning: Double check you are not sending ETH)
   Click Generate Transaction
   

3. Cashing out
   Go to Kraken, (It will take a few minutes for the transfer to complete)
   Find EOS on the upper left corner scroll,
   Select the EOS paired currency you would like to receive from the trade,
   Click Sell and enter a number of shares to sell,
   To sell it immediately, click Market.
   If you want to sell it at a certain price, use Limit and set a price.
   The last step, click Sell EOS for xxx.
