@lynncoyle1, and @gillianpearce, it is still nice to see you two ladies always in the running for the top spots. I don't know if dethroning @janton is going to be an easy thing for anyone, even you two added up, it would be a very close thing.

Hi @bashadow I think the back and forth banter is the best part. We all may as well have fun while we grow right? I like that you are focused on different areas of growth all the time, and that you share with us. Watching other people form their Steeming stratagy is such a great way to learn. Monday's post, if I am able to get one out, will be the magic one for one a day for a week, looking forward to increasing that badge number, then I need to think of 4 for one day, and a day to run them. There really is a lot of different ways to grow an account on steemit, I think people get to focused on one way, and are a bit resistant to change, every day is a new day, may as well learn to live with them.
Well I will be rooting for you. I still have not managed one a day for a week four in a day is mind boggling to me.
Agreed I have been thinking about that a lot myself lately. I am having fun right now experimenting with different things. I will be sure to pop in and help you celebrate your One year.

I may make it back up there one of theses weeks, but I have been trying to get my badge count looking better before my one year next week on Aug, 1st. Two more days and I get my 3 under the once a day for a week badge, (should be four, at least once a quarter, but to late for that), and then at least one more day with four post in a day to get my 3 under the four post a day badge. I know silly goals, but hey they are what they are and something to shoot for. Next year I am going to try to get a number increase at least once a quarter.
😂 I have no idea what you are talking about @bashadow but you seem to be making progress with what is important to you and that's great to see!

@steemitboard - - they give out badges for accomplishments on steemit, like number of votes number of comments, and other little things, https://steemitboard.com/board.html?user=gillianpearce thats your board. You have like an amazing number for daily weekly and monthly post 4 different months you never missed a day posting. I have only manage to get two weeks under my belt without missing a day, you have 27 weeks where you did not miss a day. Those numbers are simply mind blowing to me.
So I am trying to improve my posting numbers. I know it is going to be a long haul, I am more a content reader, but I am trying to still find a balance. I like and enjoy where I am at right now on steemit, but I also want to see and experience different things on steemit. @IFC is winding down, and that little game/challenge helped me a ton for trying different things. So If I focus for a bit on trying to build my steemitboard badges, then that means I may try new and different things, grow my account, and myself at the sametime. Because of @IFC I am a published lyricist,(I wrote a little song as part of the competition). And I can't help but think how cool it would be to have a tiny side story in the steemmonsters game, so I am practicing/learning how to write stories. (I think I am getting better). Steem growth to me also equals self growth in many respects.

The only month I missed a day was December when I didn't post on Christmas day or my birthday. Maybe the timezone differences play a part in the calculations. 😂
Sounds good. I'm ready for a bit of a change too but I haven't decided in what direction yet.

Thanks you have a good week to, raining here this morning so mostly an indoor day, but it will make all the fishermen and women happy, they seem to like fishing i the rain. I know when I fished I liked it when it rained.
And I think the time zone thing does play a part in the day award badges.
I could imagine that fishing in the rain would add to the peace of the experience @bashadow. A bit like lying in a tent and listening to the rain on the roof. 😊
Hey, @bashadow. Thank you for the mention and the kind words. Can't tell if you're warning everyone to watch out for me or if you're warning me to watch out for No Name, but whichever way works. I'm not sure if I have warm enough fingera to make a run back up to the top now that janton is basically foregoing sleep, eating and whatever else to get up there, but I'm looking forward to giving it my best shot. Lots to do to get there, though, and so as long as I can keep improving without hitting a plateau, that will be great. I need to get to your reply from a day or so ago and will hopefully do so before today's end.
Way to welcome the newcomers and congratulate the leapers, too. I have a hard keeping track of when people come in and such, so good on you for keeping it all straight. :)
I had to re-read what I wrote. Pesky commas, and lack of clarity of thought. I don't know who I was warning who about who. It reads both ways, Oh my god I am becoming a politician.
Well, if you were intentionally trying to be vague, yes, that would make you a politician. If it's just too many pesky commas, hey, that happens, to, the, best of us. :)
Nope never intentionally vague, so just a pesky comma problem. But I like the comma, I need to find more uses for the colon: and the semi-colon; to put them to more and better uses.

I think it is great the amount of engagement, The top 5 are pretty locked up, consistent and persistent. for them. I have read a lot o their comments, and there is a lot of them, and all of them pretty dang good. I was glad to see my number of comments and votes move up this week. There were just a few short ones. So I need to practice longer comments, I am trying to learn to write after all, so practice practice, and more practice for me this coming week.
Ehehe... Yeah they comment a lot and long ones too.

I appreciate the prize, when I am short on funds it goes to my weekly support for F.O.G. Like Daves. It is so nice to see new names on the table. More involvement is good for steem and steemit. @paulag's red fish campaign is doing pretty good too, and beginning to take off.

Yep we run into each others comments sometimes, just like glens, and lynn's and gill's, hard not to when we are all looking for those odd little things or quality things to comment on.

Possibly, but confidence builds all the time, I am getting there. One day maybe a book. Who knows anymore. I am just going to keep on keeping on as the saying goes.
Now, now. You can. You're more than coherent. Typing as much takes time. Janton says he's not that fast and I know I'm not, so it's the time spent at the keyboard. In @lynncoyle's case, she's just a fast typist. She can take three days off and still out comment me. :)
