When the institute leaves me some time I appear ... and as long as I still have a little of life inside of me to be able to write and think.

We have been working with several projects lately and we will finish many of them in this week.
Here I present a work that we are just beginning to do, not very common, but I hope it would end great (besides, i'm doing it in my eternal love, digital media).

As part of the classes we were asked to make an illustration inspired from a mythological legend. It must have the essence of the story, but without telling it literally.

Inspiration

Narcissus (when you are too high of yourself)

He was proud, in that he disdained those who loved him, causing some to commit suicide to prove their unrelenting devotion to his striking beauty. Nemesis noticed this behavior and attracted Narcissus to a pool, where he saw his own reflection in the water and fell deeply in love with it, not realizing it was merely an image. Unable to leave the allure of his reflection in the pool and having developed an unrequited love Narcissus stared into his reflection until he withered away. His body disappears and all that is left is a narcissus flower.

I had 2 options: the boy who drowned due to a disorder. O Atalanta: the girl who lost a race, and with her love they were turned into lions, because at that time Greece believed that lions mate only with leopards ... sometimes I love Greek logic.

In this work we had to present sketches with different ideas. My thoughts were changing between "a king who was not king", a university graduated student who believed he knew more than anyone, someone older who refused to listen to young people, a parrot who got into trouble by talking too much ... Now that I think about it ... I have no idea why i was creativity dead while making this work.

In the end they ended up choosing a peacock (in reference to his vanity) but here the bird suffers by its feathers while trying to take flight.

I can't go too much into details since I should go back to this same job and make as much as possible before tomorrow.

It is still in test mode, but finally starting the digital side.

University Life

Due i already started studies my post will be shorter than usual. I hope you can understand it, even so I'll do as much as possible to give quality. I liked the community, participating here and I wish I could continue. I wish you all luck and until the next time i get free from my classes.
