How the kids are Learning at School For SDG4 💓💓 || Part 20 ||💓💓

Dear Supporters, School For SDG4 has wish to go long way with child education and insure better life for the slum kids. Our main aim is to ensure quality education for underprivileged children in Sylhet. Girls education is more important to us as many slum female children drop out from education at early age and they manage all the family work when parents go for work.

Children like Rima doesn't find scope from her family environment. She completed her annual exam with hope that next year she will be in another class. In 2018, we wish to expand our class room so we can support more children like Rima. We might be asked why the 11-12 years old children read in class one. But the reality is that they have study gap, family problems. And without our initiative, they may not able to study again.

We can't ensure quality education for every children without creating equal opportunity for both male and female children at school. Their ability should not be limited with house work as wife or maid in others house. Their dream should bloom and they now see what they can do with power of education. We ask the world educators to connect with them and help the to see dream "We Can Do".

Girls get more difficult conditions in slums. Some group of youth go to slum to discuss with female children. Our female teacher also go to help them though we can't share the female youths activities due to permission. They discuss about vaccination, puberty , nutrition, use of clean water , sanitation and so on.

We should not only aware them about nutrition but also help them to access good health. As school, we wish to keep arranging healthy fruits and snacks weekly. This means a lot to them but in future we will able to feed them everyday as "Midday meal" . This will also ensure the good health, their attention and attendance at school.

We didn't forget about Rabeya who used to go with mother for begging door to door. The kid don't know why she is taught this begging ! Mother thinks it is their present needs but this killing her future. We are supporting them from our passion and emotion and we will keep it up.
