The Blame Game

When are we going to stop this Blame Game. Indeed it is easier to point our fingers at others instead of looking at how we live and how we have gotten to where we are today. Accusing others, means we do not need to acknowledge what we have done, that we may indeed have had a part to play in how the way the world stands today.

It is so great, to see so many people becoming more aware about the environment, about the impact that our advancements have had on the plant. It is so inspiring watching the younger generations unite under their desire to see change, putting pressure on those in power to act and to finally be held accountable for what they have permitted to happen to our home. For all the destruction that has occurred in the name of progress.

Everything in life happens in stages, in cycles, things are changing all the time. This is what it means to advance. To move forward, even though it feels as though we have in fact been moving in a more destructive cycle, it is still seen as progress, as humankind progress. We have been so productive, just not necessarily in the right way. But this cycle will end, as all cycles do, they die off only to be reborn again. It is up to us to decide whether or not we will be present in this next cycle, if we are willing to do what needs to be done so that we can continue living on this planet.

We have reached that point now, decisions need to be made, we as individuals need to make choices, choices about how we live, how we interact with each other and how we interact with the environment. Now is not the time for further division and segregation. Yet that is exactly what I am seeing in this latest movement.

I want to make it clear that I am so inspired by the passion and energy that students around the world are displaying in using their voice to raise awareness. This needed to happen, it is a wonderful part of the change that is occurring and has been occurring for quite a while now on the sidelines, but is only now being seen by mainstream society. For years now there have been individuals that have been living the revolution for themselves, living by example, an example that we can all now follow.

We all need to be united when it comes to bringing about change, how we can expect everyone to follow suit if we are pointing the finger and blaming them for how things are today. When I say them I mean the older generations that lived their lives unaware of the affect that industry would have on the environment. Who had come through struggles of their own and where show ways that would help them progress, that would help them thrive.

Yes it did mean that humans moved further away from nature, but they were following progress. They were doing what they were told and now we have those who wish to scorn them for not having known better. But that information was not available to them, they lived in ignorance of their actions yes, it is only now, that they are aware of the consequences.

But where would we be today without them. For sure the planet would be in a much better state, but we as humans would not have all these advancements in technology and science (some I agree with, others I do not). I would not be sitting in front of my computer writing this. Greta Thunberg would not be inspiring millions, because no one would know about her, social media has helped to spread her message. We are here, right now because of our ancestors, they made sacrifices so that we could live, for sure they done things we do not agree with, but we are here now because of them. It is too easy to blame them and their carbon footprint, but look at how much we are now dependent on those things that have scared the earth.

This blame game, well it is a game, a game of segregation, of once again pitting us against one another. Do not let this seed take root, there is nothing more important than protecting the environment, that implementing change so that we can live in harmony with the earth and all her inhabitants.

I am so with you on this sentiment! There is so much division on many levels that keeps us from moving forward in any way. We can't change the past, but as you said we can learn from it and use it to inform our decisions going forward. 💚

yes indeed, thank you xx

Some days ago (September 18 is international beach day (every day has to be the international day of nature)but we did this on September 21) I was on the beach on an initiative to clean the beaches, at least 200 people we're there cleaning beaches, a range of 4-7 bags of trash per person.

We did music on 432hz to align chakras too and we shared a day of connection, was a good day and we also enjoy the sea, it's needed to made this kind of post cause gives a strong vibe to keep the pray and the action, knowing that we're a lot of people that are the changue.

Wonderfully said, @trucklife-family. What's done is done, and what matters now is t personally - and collectively - make better choices, make restitution and repair, and crate new paradigms. Beautiful post.

My dear @trucklife-family In our country Venezuela, we are still not aware of the care we must have for the environment, since we are children we are told that we must take care of the environment, but never tell us what is the way and what are the consequences of badly treating the environment, is not just a matter of cause and effect, but of conscience.
Thank you for your thoughtful post, I loved it.
