DTubeSnap & Ulogs.org
@nathanmars came up with this really cool idea called DTubeSnaps. He has put all of his time and money into making people feel comfortable making videos, using Steem(it) and getting the word out to so many people about the blockchain Steem.
@surpassinggoogle, @steemgigs [Witness], has also spent all of his time and energy on making #ulog and #ulogging an easy way to help people that don't know what to post about. He came up with the slogan 'You are the celebrity and we are your fans'. Surpassinggoogle being our biggest fan!
What does this mean really? It means we, as Steemians, want to hear about your day, your life and what makes you, you!!
@surpassinggoogle also build a front end called Ulogs.org. This front end looks a lot like busy but has so much more to offer in the way of information. One of the best features is that while watching a DTube video you stay right at Ulogs.org.
That's right, no extra windows popping up. No losing your place while going through your feed. I love it.
What we need to do is get @nathanmars and @surpassinggoogle in the same room together and have them talk for 20 minutes. The idea's they could come up with, I think, would take Steem to the moon and beyond.

yup, for it to be a Snap it's only 1 minute but I DO use my WHOLE minute LOLLL <3 and it's REALLY hard for me to do as you would know hugs
But yes, they are a lot of fun.it makes me think of what is really the most important message or thought of my day because I only have one minute.
If I wasn't so stubborn I would use that #ulog , but since I have been here doing the Daily Dose for so long I just am not going to change. But I am proof that you don't have to have any special talent to write a daily blog or ulog you just need to consistent and half way be able to string some sentences together in some type of order.
Each and every person has some story to tell and while all may not find your stories interesting that are some that will. I didn't know a single person on steemit when I came here and I have several people I consider friends even though we have never met or spoken other than written words on this block chain. So if I can do it, anyone can. So just point people in my direction as an example of consistency and variety.
I agree with all you said but not about not using the #Ulog tag. How do people learn that they can do what you do if they don't know where to look for you? At least if you used the tag some might have a chance to see what can be done on just being yourself.
I believe in being who you are and get the stubborn part too cuz I am one of those kinds of people too but spreading the word of what can be done and how is not selfish it's helping others and giving hope.

Thanks Snook. Maybe I should lobby the #ulog folks to change their hash tag to #dailydose and have every just do Daily Doses of XXXXXX that way everybody can find me and everyone else too. Hell, the daily dose line a stole from some vitamin company called "One A Day" , which said all you need is one a day to get your daily dose of vitamin A, B, C, C1 , E and all sorts of others. So it is fair game for anyone to use.
If was wasn't so damn busy , I would promote that myself but I need to focus on other things right now, like finding a new place of employment for starters.
I may just throw the #ulog tag on a few Daily Doses and see if there is anyone I can attract with that.
Starting tomorrow, if I can remember to do it.

In the end, we all have to do what we feel comfortable with. The most important part is to be just who you are. You do that and that is why I love reading your Daily Dose.
I wish you well on searching for a new job. Sounds like my hubby will be doing that in the new year....... at his age........ yeah, not going to be easy to find anything and if he does the pay and benefits will be very bad.......... So many prayers sent your way that you can find something.

It sounds like a really nice idea, but I can only get Dtube to work on two of my devices, and I haven't been able to upload on any of them. So I have to use other video platforms. It's a bit of a drawback for Dtube. I do ulog though!
try logging into DTube with you steemit key and not steemconnect. Since I did this I have not had any problems
Thanks @snook - but I can't even get the page to appear on the big computer, never mind logging in, and when I tried to upload I just got a whole series of error messages. I worked on it into the small hours over several evenings, posted support queries on their Discord – some answered, but to no avail.
Also I noticed that there were lots and lots of support queries similar to mine, so I think maybe the technology I'm using isn't supported – even the tablet computer I bought specially for using Dtube! But I've tried a couple of other video platforms and had no problems uploading.
