B a c k y a r d 🍂 F a n t a s y (video)
I read this for the first time when I was maybe 22 years old (Dr Seuss is not that popular in spanish) I was at a friends house, trying so freaking hard to hold back the little tears that were forming in my eyes because I hate crying in front of people and using my one 'Public Crying Pass' because of a children's book seemed silly, I mean it wasn't even a video were maybe I could argue that the narrator's voice moved me or some crap like that...but believed me it was so worth it.
The reason why I'm bringing this up is because recently I went on a walk with my family to La Llovizna National Park and I couldn't stop thinking about two things. One being this poem, mainly because I LOVEE trees and going to parks and somehow the harsh contrast of the everyday life in this country vs. how majestic this park is moved me. The same way that children's book did.
The second thing was Mahoutsukai No Yome or The Ancient Magus Bride, and anime I've been obsessing for a while now aghhhhh just everything about it so beautiful. The story, the characters, the drawings and especially THE SOUNDTRACK.
So while I was at the park I took my phone and recorded some of the scenery and combined it with some songs from the Mahoutsukai No Yome OST ✌
1. If you don't like nature and/or soundtracks you're going to hate this, obviously.
2. I was tired from walking and all my shots are shaky 😂 I did what I could to hide in post but...I'm no editor.
3. I used the following songs:
-Kimi no yukue by Kocho
-Tesu Gen Anthology by Junichi Matsumoto
-Symphonic Poem also by Junichi Matsumoto.
I hope you like this, it was interesting and very soothing doing it.
