I already have a Drone #5 - ... 3 months later.

in #drone6 years ago

For a while now I have not updated the status of this series that I started when I decided to buy a "good quality" drone. What started as "I am going to buy a drone" became "I already have a drone" 3 months ago.

Due to work problems I could not fly the drone as much as I would have wanted all this time but I have done something. According to the application of DJI I have approximately done:

  • 3 hours and 45 minutes of flight.
  • 25.4 kilometers traveled.

From everything I've filmed so far, I've managed to get some videos.

Well, a friend gave me, as a present, a big tablet and I'm using it to fly the drone to have better visibility, that's why I've also bought some extras like this tablet-holder to put on the remote control of the drone.

And this to hang around the neck the whole set for more comfort.

Goes like this.

And with the base of the tablet holder it looks like this.

This helps, not only in comfort, but also, and very importantly, in security. If the remote control falls by accident, the fall is prevented.

Very soon I will upload new videos because, since we already have good weather here, it is possible to go to more distant places to fly the drone. I hope to practice a lot to get the official drone pilot license as soon as possible, it is one of my goals with all this.

And if anyone needs it, here is the list of previous chapters in this series:

- I already have a Drone #4 - Put a Mavic Air in your life, first steps and the dilemma of flying a drone in Berlin, Germany.

- I'm going to buy a Drone #3 - There is a New Kid on the Block, the DJI Mavic Air!!!

- I'm going to buy a Drone #2 - Regulations, Regulations and more Regulations ... that must be taken into account to be able to fly a Drone.

- I'm going to buy a Drone #1 - Choosing between DJI Mavic and GoPro Karma.

Hello @juanmiguelsalas, nice to Steemeet you! :-)

I confess I've been amazed by the scrolling moves you get with your drone camera!!! They fully create the impression you're walking at a couple meters from the Ernst Thaelmann park monument... Do you process the raw images (like most photographers do nowadays, with "Photoshop" and its clones) or do you obtain them like we see them in your videos?

And thanks for sharing with the community!

Interesting information about the drone, my support from Venezuela, I count on your support

Saludos @juanmiguelsalas.

“I already have a drone” 😄

I bet you look like a happy kid with all this gear around your neck!

There is an official drone pilot licence, really? And a TÜV and stuff like that?? 😄

I bet you look like a happy kid with all this gear around your neck!

Kind of :P What are you doing tomorrow? I will go to fly to the Volkspark here near my house in the morning like at 10:30. If you wanna come, get a coffe ...

There is an official drone pilot licence, really?

For drones with more than 2.5 Kg you need drone pilot licence ... it is the law!

Yes, let’s start the day with a coffee break and fly to the Volkspark! 😄 Who needs to work!

Ok see you at 10.30am! I will document what you look like with your toy for all the rest of the Steemians here :)

You can come with your laptop btw and we can do the EOS thing also after if you want.
