Today I asked myself how many people here on Steem would pay to get a website ad-free without an ad-blocker. I'm just curious, since I'm personally someone who doesn't use ad-blockers to support the content creators but if there is a chance to support them while disabling ads, I'm in.
What are you doing?^^

Yeah, using ad-block is needed sometimes. I personally never seen an ad on steemit and I don't know how they did it but my concern there was that ads could have potential to steal the keys somehow...^^

You'll get one soon enough! I thought they'll never put one in near me, then the Poles (Polish) come and put one in and I was like well then. Also, they certainly have a good sense of humor from their web url here
Nice, I hope so there is one soon. Because currently, people here have to register themselves using passport and most people don't like that kind of stuff...^^ I know many people who would use it. But here it is a little bit complicated with law, I think. I hope that the prices are reasonable for you at the ATM near you. =)

Yeah, See rates on the S**tcoins site, It's about 5-6% buying fees and 2% selling fees.
When I have $3k spare I'll come set one up near you! LOL!

I once had ad-block and there are some days where I wish I had it. Currently trying without, most websites aren't that bad anymore...
Try Brave browser..it does it without any adbloks...and you might gain some crypto...

I use ad-block (Adblock Plus, also known as ABP) most of the time (almost all the time) on my laptop.
I very rarely turn it off. I sometimes turn it off either to support specific sites, authors, or just to view some specific content. Sometimes I don't turn off at all, just switch to another browser, which don't use any ad-block. For example switching from Mozilla Firefox to Opera or to Google Chrome.
I currently not use ad-block on my smartphone, some advertisements are appearing on it. For example YouTube video advertisements (sometimes even surveys), but I usually skip them as soon as possible.
To answer your question: I would not pay $10 to get a site ad-free without an ad-blocker.

I heard of ABP but it seems that they have whitelisted some pages. I'm personally not using a smartphone, are there ad-block plugins available?^^ Would make sense to disable it there because of bandwidth and stuff like that, but I can imagine that there aren't any available? ^^
I am nowadays using a Huawei Ascend Y300 with Android 4.1.1.
There are multiple options for ad-blocking on Android, but I currently don't use any of them.

I am thinking this is a Yes or No question but nevertheless I don't buy the idea of paying. I have adblock on and only disabled it for a particular website that instructs me to do so.

... but I disable it on some sites. Mostly enough if they are asking me to do it.
But there are some terrible sites with tons of ads, trackers, scipts, shouting videos and whatsoever. I simply need adblocker.
Other nice way of protection of ads could be RSS reader (e. g. Feedly). You read the titles and the leads without ads and only visit the most interesting pages.

Yeah, RSS reader apps are nice, I used to use RSS in a folder on Firefox but it seems they disabled that. =( Should have added a option to have the ad-blocker disabled on some sites for this poll.^^
