First of all I want to clarify that I am very bad in the illustrations, to contribute with my contribution I had to ask for help from my lady who has some idea, our intention is to accompany our dear friend @opheliafu in your call.

Today's work is entitled (The Sirens care for the environment) The sirens in Greek mythology are represented by women with the body of birds, closely linked to the astral world, its main attraction were its sweet melodies, which used to enchant the sailors and lead them to tragedy and his death.

According to the stories, the sirens inhabited a "rocky island of the Mediterranean" which is commonly known as "the island of Capri", any boat that passes through its coasts were enchanted by their songs, sometimes used flutes or small harps to accompany Their harmonious voices, once obtained their attention, led to their deaths.

There are other versions of mermaids, in "Middle East" is represented as a woman with fish tail and is linked to the story of "Derceto, Venus and Semiramis the queen of Babylon" who threw herself into the sea by the execution of her husband .

The intention of the queen to commit suicide by the death of her husband, however the gods did not allow it, this is how this version of a woman with fish tail is born

"In the British Isles" the sirens are considered beings that represent bad luck, in their stories they relate that the sirens could not only swim in the sea, they could also do it, in rivers, lakes, estuaries and lagoons.

They presented themselves to the fishermen and pretended to be women who were drowned, when the brave fishermen threw themselves into the water with the intention of saving them, the sirens drowned their victims.

In this culture they are also associated with beings that could cure diseases, many fishermen who could escape their charms described them as a fish female of more than "600 meters".

In "Wales" there are several stories linked to the mermaids, one of them is the curse that received "Dahud" from the gods, condemning her to be absorbed by the sea, it is said that by carelessness her father fell into the sea and since then The curse of the gods remains in the water turned into a mermaid.

Another story tells of a woman who was rescued from the sea called "Murgen", was baptized according to their customs and taught all their culture, the inhabitants did not know how to catalog it, they could not say that it was a fish, because to human things, like " sewing and talking, "they could not claim that she was a woman either, since she had the ability to live and breathe underwater.

The Irish have their own versions, according to their beliefs, mermaids are men and women, women are the dominant sex, to be more than men, however men are depicted with pig face.

The Scottish are not left behind with their versions, the sirens in these beliefs have "salmon" tail, the young ones being captured and if they were returned to the sea, whoever did it could ask for three wishes. Men who fall in love with sirens only get to death.

Other stories spoke of mermaids, while they were in the water they had the form of a "seal", but when they touch with their feet the earth becomes beautiful women

The Chinese have their own versions, the sirens in these cultures are very enamored, when their hearts were not reciprocated, they melted into tears, they say that their tears falling into the water become "precious pearls"

There are many versions of sirens, you could say that every corner of the universe has its own history, even in the bible speaks of the reality of a siren under the Christian faith.

Our siren, also has a particularity, in this narrative does not have negative effects, on the contrary, they are beings that are in the care and conservation of the environment. The negative effects produced by the use of plastic on our planet are not new.

Although, it is very useful for people, the abuse that man has done with them is contributing to the destruction of our planet, just by telling you that a bag takes more than a hundred years to degrade.

It will not be easy to replace the bottles, however we must be aware with the use of them, it is enough to see these images, to know the magnitude of the problem.
