From the 1st of December 2010 till March 2016 Polish (Warsaw) Label called The Very Polish Cut Outs was responsible for digging out and bringing new life for the re-worked old and forgotten polish gems. For approximately 6 years remixed and refreshed funky/disco versions of the legendary tunes were smashing the dance floors in the same way like in the past, when our parents were still young, wild and free. Many unknown, extremely talented artists had an opportunity to show off their skills and promote themselves internationally. After a loud announcement in March 2016 that TVPCO are going to close their label, surprisingly for everybody two years later, in May 2018, they literally came out from the afterlife with the breaking news.
MARCH 2016
Something that kinda started around 6 years ago when i first meet with Kacper Kapsa face to face on the train station at Częstochowa Osobowa (Kapsa lives in Częstochowa) is now coming to end. Those almost 6 years of doing the Very Polish Cut Outs was a great musical journey. I learned a lot about polish music, the (underground?) music industry, made tons of new friends all over the world, discovered new and exciting producers, travelled to places i never thought i would go to and last but not least was able to promote the polish music scene all over the globe. Its was a hard decision to shut the label down but i feel the mission is complete and there is no need to dragging it on past release number 67 or 89 like some labels do, just because it sells. We are leaving behind a nice catalogue of 10 vinyl records (+ all the digital “Polish EDITS” EP’s) that will forever remain a mark of the project.

MAY 2018
After almost two quiet years on their social medias, something moved around the March 2018. One line of potentially ignore-able text, just few words, the smallest possible teaser. The true ground-shaking news came to the community after next two months. Pump up the volume and make your life positive again with the freshest funky disco roller
This track is in the same time promoting an upcoming hot Long Play including 13 disco killes catalogued as TVPCLP001 and bringing back The Very Polish Cut Outs from the ashes. As I found on the TVPCO FB Fanpage almost all 12" are reserved for the pre-orders. Beside of that promotional parties all across the Poland are booked for the whole summer. Definitely it is going to be the loudest long-waited comeback of this summer.
