"I'm fine" ...

It is the typical response we usually give when asked about our state of mind, and I include myself since silent depression can be a disorder or disease that affects a large part of the population regardless of age, it can affect both children and people older and is a bit difficult to perceive since each person is a world, and each person expresses it in different ways.
This is my first post for Steemit, and I want to talk about it with everyone since it is a problem that affects us all. Perhaps you, who read this now, a family member or friend goes through this type of problem.

First of all, we must be clear that silent depression is an emotional disorder that manifests a constant feeling of sadness and lack of interest to perform any kind of activity, in other words, influences the feelings and thoughts as the behavior of people and can cause devastating consequences for those who suffer as they may even reach suicide.

You can go out and see people with a very positive attitude and overwhelming spirit, radiant and with a smile from ear to ear, without imagining what really goes through that person's head. Silent depression is usually very deceptive but can be detected with some symptoms such as:
  • Feelings of disability.
  • Guilt.
  • Arrebatos of anger.
  • Alterations in body weight
  • Sleep disorders.
  • Energy losses.
  • Deconcentration.
  • Anxiety.
  • Feelings of sadness
  • Thoughts that resort to death or ideas and even attempted suicide.

Silent depression is more common than you can imagine and we do not give due importance to this topic. Many people need a helping hand, many people go through this problem and it is imperative to help them and let them know that they are not alone. Some of us, who face it, we isolate and we only have the pillow as a companion and that is not right, it is always good to have someone to support us and listen to us to make us feel that we are not alone and that we can move forward and overcome our problems.
If you, friend, who reads this, you go through something similar, do not isolate yourself, fight and express yourself, release and let go of all your frustration and talk to your friends; A good friend will always give you their support. If you know someone who is going through this situation, reach out and help them cope with their depression.
