Since its official launch in July 2017, DeepOnion never stops involving by introducing periodically updates about its airdrop and bounties strategy. New features such as DeepVault, Paper wallet are DeepPoints are released in order to satisfy large DeepOnion community needs. However, this is not the end of DeepOnion story. Many features are under development and wait to be released in order to enhance DeepOnion blockchain system. The purpose of these updates is to improve user’s experience with DeepOnion TOR based anonymous transaction system. If we take a look at DeepOnion roadmap, we can expect further coming updates and related new features. Let’s try to take a look.

DeepSend

This feature is expected to come by the end of 2017. DeepSend is made to improve anonymity of ONION based transactions. It will use multi-signature techniques in order to hide transaction’s trace.
DeepOnion Vote Central
Coming up in the first quarter of 2018. DeepOnion Vote Central allows ONION holders to vote for new developments and bring up own ideas for future implementations.

Mobile wallets

Personally, I am waiting for this feature because I often use my smartphone for my financial transactions. I don’t prefer desktop based wallets because of their complexity. I change my OS many times and each time I have to setup and configure the wallet

Supporting Smart contract

By the first half of 2018, DeepOnion will support smart contracts. I am not expert with blockchain based software development. But, I think that this feature will give developers the opportunity to design and implement their own systems based on DeepOnion blockchain just like Ethereum and ERC20 based tokens.

This fact will be interesting for both ONION holders and traders. More platforms accepting ONION means more chances for the coin to improve its market cap and as result price will be multiplied several times as we hope
