It's my birthday!

I almost can not believe it. But yes, Lady-boss never lies to me. So it will be like that anyway. But that also means that I am already almost 10 years old. And that is not an age that every dog gets. Fortunately I am a healthy dog, and I feel very good! And Lady-boss knows that too. I'm just, even though I'm 9 years old now, I'm just a YOUNG GODDESS. But woohoohoof, it's my birthday!

Long walk.

So Lady Boss said to me early this morning. "Myla, we are going to make a nice long walk together with Rowan". And, oohh woof, if she says that then it will be fun! Yes, Rowan and I never really like the first piece. Because we no longer have a car we have to walk the first part on-leash, a very long boring road according to Lady-boss. In our opinion that is not a long boring road because there is already so much to rummage for us. And Rowan and I can pretty well walk and run when we are on-leash, Lady-boss never allowed us to do so. Although I am always impatient, and then I am pulling very hard. Rowan eventually does that too, so Lady-boss never finds that first road what we do have to walk nice to walk.

But we just do that on the leash because we know that we will eventually be released, and yes if we can go. Then we will really go! Today we went to "Engelenstede", and that is beautiful to me! We do not walk there often because we have to make a decent walk before we get there. Usually after 5 minutes we walk into the woods. Only today Lady-boss wanted to go further away to the forest, especially because it is my birthday! Loving her to do that. And very nice for Rowan and me. Do you see how beautiful it is behind us?

After we walked through the fence. Yes we did a little quiet because Lady-boss asked us, we came on a very big field. And then we were allowed to go. We ran and played with each other and Lady-boss just went along with us. Owowowooho what a party for us. We were therefore very happy.

After we had run the pent up energy from our paws we started to sniff. Because on such a big field many other dogs come ... and and and Rowan sniffs HORSES. Will there be horses here Lady-boss? I wanted to know because, however well-mannered we are. Horses are in Rowan's eyes but for one thing nice and good. And that is to hunt when they run past with those people on their backs. The people are always so nice, and Lady-boss scares it. He runs as fast as he can ... and then Lady-boss is not amused. She doesn't allow him. Usually it does not work because Lady-boss is so careful that she always clicked on the line before he can run away. But the three times that we succeeded, we really enjoyed it. Running so fast. Of course I run along with Rowan, and then we run back to Lady-boss just as fast. So why she doesn't let us we don't understand ... but well. The life of a dog is not always about roses. This time he sniffed the smell of horses. But Lady-boss immediately said to him, "They have been here Rowan, but they are already gone! And you behave! Otherwise you will immediately be on the leash again! ". Well on such a message my boyfriend just sticks his tongue out. And I thought ... Hah, you should see Lady-boss. If there is a horse now you do not just have to catch me. We run on our four paws much harder than you with those two paws of yours.

As we walk on, we play together nicely. But I also have to admit. Lady-boss knows what she says. I do not see a horse, I do not hear a horse, and I no longer smell a horse. we hear, see and smell everything and we are very busy with sniffing, running, researching and we entertain ourselves best, when Lady-boss suddenly sees something she likes. Suddenly, out of nowhere, she calls us to her. Hey what? We were so fun! Should we suddenly sit on top of a picnic table. It is a beautiful red, and a little bleached by the sun. But still, red is red.

Good dogs as we are, we do what Lady-boss asks of us and Rowan says to me, "What do you think of that hobby Lady-boss calls photographing? Would she never gets tired of making pictures of us? "

Fortunately, we are going to walk soon again. Lady-boss relaxes again now that it appears that we have this great forest just about for us alone. Even though the seems seems to be deceiving here. Lady-boss keeps a closer eye on us this time than we do. And while we are still sniffing, running and playing and sniffing again, she has taken our lines again, and before we realize it she suddenly has us both on the leash again. Just as we were about to run into a very nice flat piece. Lady-boss had seen that at the end of the beautiful path another owner came running with his dog. And you never know in advance whether such a dog is friendly or not. So we had to be on the line. We found that nonsense, of course, but after the owner and the dog were over it turned out to be very good because the dog was not seemingly sweet at all. Still weird! Oh well, when they were well over we were allowed to go loose again, and because we were happy that we were allowed to go loose again we were posing for Lady-boss. This time we did it very nicely!

After she made the photo we wanted we walked on and we will never fully understand it, but Lady-boss suddenly found a little flower. Well, instead of sniffing the smells that other dogs leave behind, so that we can walk behind them ... we had to wait now because she saw a flower. Do you understand that? There is nothing about that! I am celebrating my birthday, and then Lady-boss is going to take pictures of flowers. No, we really do not understand this very well. But okay, as good dogs we wait until she has photographed her flower. To wait again after 2 meters walking ... the next flower is to be put on the photo

Surprise!

After a while, my boyfriend Mitch suddenly arrived. He was walking with his humans, and I can always play very nice with Mitch.

Together Mitch and I have played deliciously at the water. We were running in a row, and because it was my party Lady-boss kept Rowan on hold. You know, Rowan is quite a tough guy, and Mitch too. So those two do not always like each other. Stupid, men are acting so weird!

After Mitch and I ran smoothly, we went on again. Slowly we had to walk back again because Lady-boss thought that Boss, Lex and Lana would also like to know where we stayed. We had been on the road for longer than intended. Not that Rowan and I found that so bad. We enjoyed delicious. But we were also happy when, after that long, now rather boring road, we came home again.

And after such a long fun pleasant walk it is always good to see our house again. Ultimately, there is nothing better than just being cozy with all of us together.
