I was thinking for a few days now what exactly i could write about to fill the void between my music uploads and i came to an idea. Since i remained a @curie curator for this month as well (thx Mark), i decided to do a "curating" series of my own with a bit of a twist. Curie has very specific guidelines of what can get a Curie upvote, so i wanted to go "free for all" and just reward my favorites with the glorious chance to be featured in my list, that for one reason or another dont qualify for a Curie. Or maybe they do! You never know... 😂
Once i find a great blogger, i start annoying the curator lounge chat with my finds, so i decided to start this series as a way to, lets say "vent my admiration". 😋
Im just making up stuff as i go, since this is more about having fun then it is about large upvotes, rewards or exposure none of which i can get you. haha. (You basically wont be getting anything more then reading how much i like what you do. Thats all you get. hahaha 😇)
Just to put some arbitrary guidelines for me to follow. (there are none) 🤸:
Instead of highlighting a particular post, ill be looking at the weekly uploads and blog history, taking into account consistency and quality and offering an insight why i think this particular blogger deserves attention.
When making my picks i wont be looking at rating, age of the blog, post payouts, etc...
Basically:
If i like what you do, you will get featured. 😋
Yeah so lets get into it.
One of my favorite bloggers on the platform. He has a running series, that i love so much, with his daughter called: "Bearkid series". I can only imagine with how much care and thought they discuss every story they write and how they will recreate it for us here. The photos are great and they really capture the moments to shoot with great skill and timing. His general photography is great as well and he does a large number of posts that share the culture of Philippines. That being religious topics, food, daily life etc. Definitely worth a look.

Nathan is one of the most interesting musicians i have run into here on Steemit. I always take a notice to those that stand out with their uniqueness and hes one of those guys that stands out instantly. His performance is pure energy.
His lapsteel slide guitar playing is particularly interesting to listen to. Id probably say my favorite was his "Lucky man story" from a few weeks back.

I have to say that without a doubt he is one of the most active photographers on Steemit. That im sure about. :D I would also rate him among the best, for whatever my opinion is worth. Some shots he makes are not only amazing, but question how in the world he was able to take them. You really feel like you can almost walk inside the photo he creates.
I think this blog is a must for any photography lover.

I like the idea of highlighting the attributes of the bloggers and not only their work :-) The readers will have a better idea about the featured authors through your impression to them. Keep it up :-)
Thx. Thats the little twist i tried to add. No blog is about only one thing so i thought it would help if i said a few words about the blogger. Its not that i have a large following or something that a lot of users will see this, but i can at least show a bit of appreciation. :D

Wow thank you so much for including us in your pick. I am honored and I agree it's all about having fun. A lot of times our content don't do too well and I always say and look at my daughter and tell her, "We had an awesome time doing that shoot. " Having fun is important and the upvotes are a bonus. Love what you are doing and oh one last thing I'm a dad btw lol.
I have no idea why i thought you were a woman. :D .... I just hope more people can pay attention to the content and recognized when something is done with love and hard work.
Usually, when i found something, and it didnt get a Curie id leave a small bot upvote to at least show my appreciation. But i found out that at that rate id spend all my SBD. haha. This series is me trying to not spend my SBD (hehe) but still try and give some exposure to the creators i run into. I really think you deserve all the exposure you can get. :)
