My dear Steemian friends,
Thank you very much for your patience and support to me when I had a frustration "steem" to let go yesterday.
I guess I do love STINC (Steemit INC) because I love all of you and I am happy that things feel smoother on steemit.com today (Cross fingers, knock wood and spike a voodoo doll of the DDOS attacks. LOL!)
Okay! Apart from my appreciation and dark jokes, I would like to tell you about 2 very helpful groups that I came across in steemit
1. @qurator Group
This is the group that I have been working with as their writer and Quality Curator- Dr. TLK in the past month or so.
The founders of the group @scrooger and his partner @gingerninja are amazing and helpful individuals. They love to grow, not alone, but with other minnows and they want to enhance the experience of new and struggling steemians, especially those who are working hard to write quality contents only to find that no one, or only few, is reading or voting them.
What are the rules for joining @qurator?
It is simple...
- Ask for a review of your account from @scrooger or @gingerninja on Qurator general room at Discord chat: https://discord.gg/pJtWp57
It is cheap...
- Once you are approved, send a 2 SBD to @qurator as a life-time registration fee. The fee is used to grow the @qurator bot's SP.
What are the perks you get for joining @qurator?
1- You will get daily votes (every 24hrs) on one of your posts for life for free.
Your registration fee will cover your basic tier (Tier 0 "T0") upvote for life. This means you will not need to pay a single penny to enjoy being upvoted daily at T0.
2- You can enhance your upvoting tier
The votes are divided into tiers that are arranged to maximize fairness. If you want to increase your tier and receive larger upvotes, you can see more details about voting tiers in this post by @gingerninja.
At the moment, the tier upvotes range from $0.13-$0.46 but keep in mind that as the bot grows, the upvote payouts will grow as well.
3- You will get upvoted by @qurator streemian curation trail.
What is streemian curation trail?
It is a trail used to automatically vote posts by more than one person.
For example, @qurator trail is joined by several members from the group such as @scrooger, @gingerninja and myself. So every time you get an upvote from @qurator, you will also get an upvote from the three of us as well as other members that are following the trail (That is when Streemian.com is working properly)
4- You will get curated by @theleapingkoala and featured at The Daily Qurator.
This will increase your exposure and your upvotes eventually
5- You will be called Qurite and you will belong to a friendly group, a loving family and a supportive guild
No need to feel lonely, lost or frustrated. You can visit @qurator's page an read The Daily Qurator as you read your daily news paper. Be part of a community and communicate with other friendly Qurites to build lasting relationships.
6- You will have the chance to participate in different contests and win prizes
These contests are either held by @qurator or by members of the qurator family.
2. @buildawhale Group
I just came across this group today, which is another curator group founded by @themarkymark. Their chief curators are: @bethalea and @nicnas and have other curators join them sometimes like: @juvyjabian and @lturner
As far as I understood, they have no registration fee for life-time memberships.
What are the rules for using @buildawhale?
It is cheap...
- Send 0.5 SBD (or more) to @buildawhale to bid on your post.
It is simple...
- Get an upvote (The % of the upvote is dependent on the number of bids in the 2.4h bid window)
- Your posts will be reviewed by the curators and, if chosen, will be featured in their Daily Curation Digest
What are the perks you get for joining @buildawhale?
1- You will get an upvote on one of your posts.
Each post can be upvoted once only. The voting power could be anywhere from 0-100%
2- You can join @buildawhale PreVote Club?
Similar in idea to curation trails, where you get additional upvotes on your posts from members of the PreVote Club.

3- You may get curated and featured in The Daily Curation Digest
This will increase your exposure and your upvotes eventually
4- You will receive an extra upvote from @akrid

To be featured in The SteemVoter Guild Author of the Day post, means that your post

6- You can sponsor a post for curation
Do you have a post or know someone who has a post that is worth curation but you don't wish to go through the bidding process?
Simply send 3 STEEM to @buildawhale with the post URL in the Memo and the post will be featured in The Daily Curation digest for sure!

The bot votes every 2.4 hours 910 times a day) and the total bids during that window are given a share of that 100% upvote. (So yes between 0-100%)
One account can only upvote a post/comment one time. So if you do send SBD more than once during a window for the same post they will be combined into one bid. If you try to send money in different windows, only the first bid will work and all others are lost since you cannot upvote a post more than once.
As far as the curated posts in the digests, yes you can receive an extra upvote. This is sponsored by @akrid using Whaleshare tokens. The vote is from @officialfuzzy. There are a couple factors that would stop a post from getting them as well. One being how old the post is or if the post has had them used on it already.
