Welcome to The Daily Sneak!!!

You can earn up to 15 SBD per accepted submission for guest curating The Daily Sneak. Submission requirements are published at the bottom of each edition of The Daily Sneak. Based on the entries I have been getting, I added some clarifying remarks to the entry form. If you have submitted entries that have not been published, please review the new information in the form. If you are still unclear why your entry was not accepted, then please comment and I can provide specific details.

Today's guest curation is provided by @simgirl! @Simgirl is a growing minnow in the Steemit community, and writer of How to Play the Sims. She is a gamer who loves to write, decorate, and interact on social media. Her interests are music, movies, and American politics. She am a big cheerleader for Steemit, and the Minnow Support project. @simgirl hopes to begin broadcasting a new radio show on MSPWaves, called Sim Your Life, where she will teach others how to plan their lives according to their traits, aspirations, and life goals.

Now, on to today's great selections...

A “STEEMIT” Christmas! - first online silver order

This post shows the spirit of Steemit, and what a great, rewarding place place this can be. @jsull walks us through the process of opening his first Steemit silver coin, and tells how he was able to get it. The pictures in this post build the excitement as we watch him open the coin he received in the mail. You just feel happy for him. It is a wonderful feeling to have something so rare. I'm sure that this will cheer anyone who reads it.

Next time you're lying down, try the Gratitude Challenge.

In this article, @troubledsoles asks us to reflect on the many things in our lives that we are grateful for having. They invoke the attitude of gratitude by giving examples of the many things we have to be thankful for, such as our friends, family, and loved ones. Without question we all have it better than others in some capacity, whether it be our health, or security. After reading this article, you will want to lay down and think about how blessed you really are this holiday season.

Drunken Mussels

I picked this article because it looked so yummy. I have never made Drunken Mussels before, but @home-slice makes it look easy and delicious. The broth is made with butter, onions, and white wine. They add tomatoes, parsley, and of course the mussels. They even show you how to chill the tomatoes to remove the skin, and suggest sopping up the delicious broth with a fresh warm baguette. Call me what you want, but don't call me late for this meal!

⚒️ The best steemit tools for my dear followers and all steemit users !

I love articles with lots of links to more information. Steemit provides the platform with communication in the forefront, and @clixmoney takes advantage by sharing all he has learned on Steemit in his first six months. He adds a list of the tools he uses on Steemit, such as Steemd.com, along with a few sites I personally had never heard of before. He show what he has learned to do on Steemit, and the cool meme he made. He includes links to articles he's written, and he even includes a rap! What more can you ask for? You are going to want to bookmark this one.

Do The Little Things In Life Really Matter?

This article was written to inspire, and @axios does a fine job of spreading good cheer by explaining that life is about the little things. He begins by measuring how small a thought can be, then showing examples of what a big impact thoughts have on our lives. He further explains the evolution of a thought, and how a thought can gain momentum when we focus on it. He explains this by saying, "emotion is energy in motion". This article really gives you something to think about, and I'm glad I found it!

Conclusion

I hope you enjoyed these great selections from @simgirl. I love how bringing in guest curators creates a broader range of content. I'm sure I would never have seen any of them if not for @simgirl submitting them! For submitting these five great selections, @simgirl earns 15 SBD today. In addition, each of these choices receive full upvotes and resteems from @sneakyninja!

Submission Requirements

  1. You can choose from 2 to 5 articles for your entry. Submissions with only one selected article will be ignored.
  2. All articles chosen for curation need to have been published within the last 5 days before your entry. It may take time for me to publish your curation, and curated articles need to be within the reward window when your submission is published.
  3. You cannot submit your own post for curation. Selections from nsfw will also not be accepted.
  4. Selected posts should have less than $50 in total rewards and have not previously been curated by The Daily Sneak. We try to spread the love around, so while selections from authors that have been highlighted before are welcome, they might not be included if the author's last inclusion was recent.
  5. Be sure to include your personal bio for me to introduce you to readers, and make sure that each selection has commentary. This can be just a few sentences about why you think the selection is worth our attention, or what is great about it - something that will make people want to click through the headline and check out the actual article. English is preferred, but other languages will be considered as long as English translation is included.
  6. Please use this web form to submit your entry. https://goo.gl/forms/VH2MGIMEgqZmd9ef1

If you include more than 2 articles in your submission and not all are approved for publication, your submission may still be published into an edition of The Daily Sneak, as long as at least 2 articles are approved. This could happen if you choose an author that was recently highlighted in The Daily Sneak, if another submission curates your same choices and is published before yours, or if the editors do not accept the quality of your submissions.

Submission Reward

A brief biography of each guest curator will be included in the edition that uses their submission. In addition, each guest curator will receive 3 SBD for each article from their submission that is highlighted in The Daily Sneak. That's up to 15 SBD for each accepted submission!

Right now @sneakyninja's upvote is not worth as much as we are paying for guest curation. Why do we pay so much for guest curation? We believe that quality curation is very important to Steem. Paying our curators well encourages them to spend more time reviewing content and picking out the best pieces. We hope that they will spend some of the SBD earnings to power up- but it's their choice.

I really liked your article, and all the pictures! Thanks for sharing!

Thank you so much @simgirl!

Great issue today! Good job @simgirl!

Thank you! And, thank you for helping me find this chance to curate. It was really fun to write the descriptions!

I agree! Writing about how great other people are is so much fun! And unlike being a teacher, I never have to write about how bad they are, because then I just don't pick them. Its positive reinforcement all around!

Thank you so much for including me, you made my day, I am so happy now because I am finally noticed in steemit. ☺

You gave a lot of good advice! You deserve to be highlighted. Grats!

Thank you for including my article! Continuing with the theme, I'm very grateful to be among the other writers that were chosen.

I am grateful I found your article. I have a habit of focusing on negative thoughts, so your article combined with @axios's post, reminds me to focus on the grateful thoughts. :) Thanks for sharing!
