Preppers' Curation Day- Weekly Edition 18 **PLUS NEW UPComing Curation Posts' Schedule**

Prepping Curation
There are many posts and curation pages displaying a wide array of topics, but yet have I discovered one solely dedicated to prepping, preppers and survival; and if there was one before I have not seen an update in months. So, in my endeavors to curate more topics under the main umbrella of homesteading, self-reliance, off-grid living and more, I will be doing a weekly post every Monday dedicated to preppers.
Topics I will be searching for include (but not restricted to):
- Prepping
- Survival
- Self-reliance
- Self-sustainability
- Bushcrafting
- Food prepping
- Protection (of home, family and possessions)
- DIY Health
- 2nd Amendment concerns
- Gear and supplies
- Skills & DIY Instructions
Now keeping in mind these posts will be written by other steemians, considered good quality and not plagiarized.
When I find new posts in the above mentioned topics that meet criteria I desire the posts to have, I will post in upcoming Preppers Curation Day Weekly Editions and let the author know of the sharing and curation.
I will be looking through the Preppers Discord group and channels and taking recommendations from fellow preppers in the same group and community.
Pennsif's Progress #628 - Food Security - My Three-Pronged Approach by @pennsif

I am a prepper first and foremost.
Being a homesteader for me is a key part of my prepping strategy.
Growing my own food is frontline for my food security plans.
If the bad times come and the supermarkets are emptied, as long as the sun keeps shining, the rains keeping falling and the soil doesn't blow away I will keep growing
Nicaragua Crisis – The Supply Run by @cecicastor

We passed a lot of damaged and burnt out buildings. It was really sad to see centuries-old buildings ruined. The street had been damaged too and scattered with broken glass so as to make walking difficult. We carried on for another 6 blocks (these blocks are long blocks, measured in metres so are not what you may be used to seeing) to the corner with our grocery store. It had been all boarded up with only a small opening for clients to pass through
Building the Butchershop Part 1 by @goldenoakfarm

In 2008 when we decided to raise as much of our own food as possible, we started checking into getting the animals butchered. One of the very first things we heard over and over was how various farmers were sure they had not gotten either all their meat back or had not gotten their OWN meat back, or both.
As we were going to be raising as clean food as we could, and it was going to take every ounce of energy we had to do it, either one of these scenarios was very worrying.

Good stuff this week :) I especially needed the post about the butcher set up.
Oh I know!!! A butcher room! How unique and awesome is that!
I know someone who had one as an extension of his pole barn; but he also did TONS of deer and venison processing for people.
I plan on getting a full set up, grinder, sausage maker and deli slicer. Hoping to hunt year round, believe or not I have to go they way of that lifestyle because of how bad my problems with sugar are. Even the natural sugars in fruits and vegetables can lay me out for a day or two. I don't want to make any of my vegan/vegetarian friends mad, not sure how to bring it up ;)
Thank you, @goldendawne, for featuring my post in your weekly preppers curation post! This awesome and I really appreciated it!
You are VERY welcome!!!
People need to see what is happening... being prepared as you were was a God-send to help you stay safe.
I was indeed! If we weren't prepared things would have so much worse...
