There are two power tools I find essential for homesteading in a non-urban, rural environment. For sure, you could make do without these two tools, but the speed of which jobs can be accomplished with their use, lends so much more free time to devote to other projects they're almost a necessity. The first tool necessary on the Good View Quarter is our Yanmar 2000D, and since I have near zero interest in learning, training, buying and keeping horses, tasks such as mowing the lawn, plowing the garden and skidding logs requires mechanical horses

One thing I was quite surprised with is how quickly the process would start as within 24 hours (of adding a bit of flour to water) the mix has started to rise of its own accord and it no longer smells of wet flour a new smell is forming still pleasant but with a hint of “off”

Hello friends, a question please, I have to put my link to the kitchen post in the comments or just put the label.
Thanks for these curation posts @goldendawne. It makes it easy to find interesting content! I did accidentally spend about an hour looking at Yanmar and other small tractors while reading that first post! haha
