Exploring Steemit's Sunken Treasure - #2 - Special Edition - @SpiritualMax's Steemit Guide Compilation With My Request - SIBWA Challenge Week 6 Day 2 Entry

in #curation7 years ago (edited)

Hey Steem Fam,

Once again I had a post halfway written and left in my Steemit publishing window, then I found something else that triggered me changing plans and replacing the post that was already there.

180409-ST-#2-spiritualmax-sp-ed-guide-comp+cardgig.jpg

Earlier this morning... well, earlier today as it's crossed over to past 12 noon here in Jamaica since I started writing then editing this... I went looking for one of @SpiritualMax's more recent guides, and came across this favorite STEEM Guides Compilation: Spiritualmax's Guides Compiled one.

Steemit's GREAT 'you left a comment unpublished' thingy took me straight to... an unpublished comment I'd left on the post after upvoting...

I started adding the EDIT you'll see below to it.. well I finished actually... then it occurred to me that @SpiritualMax already told me at least a couple times that some of my comments should be posts.

Since this is a two month old post (it's frightening how I can now use Steemit to monitor and be in awe of how FAST time is passing... cannot believe I'm on here MORE than two months already!!!), what better place to honor it but in my new Exploring Steemit's Sunken Treasure series... Special Edition style of course! ;)

This is the post pic Max used for STEEM Guides Compilation: Spiritualmax's Guides Compiled:

So I haven't even looked if the guide I was searching for is in this compilation of all the guides Max has published here on Steemit (time to do a series of guides on Amazon Kindle, Max!).

I know exactly the one I'm looking for but I plan on writing up a separate feature on it.

IF it's in here, maybe you can play at guessing which one it is in your comment? It's a really cool guide.

On that basis alone, I KNOW you'll never guess. ALL his guides are wayyy kewl! IF you don't believe me, IF you think that sounds hypey, you'll thank me later when you scan the titles and click in and read even ONE of them. ;)

Anyhoo, without further ado, THIS compilation is one that you need to bookmark. I must confess that I still haven't studied all of them. I need to. Quickly. But we all I know that's not going to happen right now... I do better at taking small bites, applying then going back for more as I need/have/want to.

Why would I keep going back for more?

Why do I still follow Max?

WHY am I yapping on and on about this guy's guides?

Because the guides I have gone through and picked even just one idea and ran with have helped my Steemit journey tremendously.

Because @SpiritualMax was the FIRST 'successful' Steemian to NOT only teach me HOW IMPORTANT commenting is, but walked that talk by doing his commenting rounds every day.

That's important. He started out doing 100+ comments many days. Yes. You read that number right.

And THAT's why he's doing so well for someone so relatively new on Steemit. Well, doing great posts, including his guides, his awesome Steemit cards (more on that later) didn't hurt either.

But seriously, ONE thing you'll learn from him quickly if you take my advice and follow (read that STALK) him, is how importantly he takes his daily commenting rounds.

As I share in my two-month old comment below, @SpiritualMax was one of the very first peeps who took the time to engage with and offer gentle, very relevant suggestions that helped me find my way the very first two overwhelming weeks I was on Steemit.

My advice?

  • Follow him
  • Study AND implement his guides
  • Put him on your fav auto-vote thingy (mine is SteemDunk... magical upvote and comment round assistance tool)
  • ESPECIALLY STUDY his 'Do first post, follow immediately with first comment round for day' teaching (you'll see me do up one on this featuring Max in my Quick Steemit Lessons too)
  • ENGAGE with him on his posts.. he is way kewl and has a knack of sharing with you individually just what you most need to step in to/step up with here on Steemit for your continued sucess growth path
  • Resteem his stuff, especially those that resonate with you OR you think would assist and serve your particular slices of the huge Steemit audience
  • Facebook/Tweet his stuff because that will help your social media audience and others (IF you're using your tags correctly... eg ADDING your niches and also #Steemit as tags) see what awesome material is being covered here on Steemit and will help to get more peeps on this awesome platform
  • PLEASE support me in asking him to UPDATE this GUIDE COMPILATION at least monthly so we can keep up with all the fresh ones he adds.

This last is Steemit progress mission critical for us and newbie Steemians and other Steemians who want to advance but don't quite know how or need reminding on both critical and newly unfolding ways to achieve that.

Max is EXCELLENT at sussing out the new Steemit techniques to MOVE ahead!

Ok, so to wrap up, I'll share the forgotten comment I'd left and didn't get back to clicking publish two months or so ago... the top part is my edit that I was going to add in earlier this morning before deciding to whip up this post instead.

Whip up. Yeahhh... right.

I STILL have not had breakfast and it's 12:58pm, JA/CST. Thankssss, Max! ;)

SIDEBAR:
Has anyone found a cure for Steemit obsession yet. Preferably natural cure not requiring those white jacket thingies???
END of SIDEBAR

EDIT:

Hey, @SpiritualMax,

I JUST found this comment I'd written but couldn't post due to bandwidth issues at the time. I was to get back in to click 'Post' and never did.. but it was still here. Came searching for a specific guide and saw this one, then came in to refresh memory and to see if it was listed on this round-up post... and Steemit took me immediately to this unsubmitted comment.

At least I upvoted it as I always do before commenting, and that went through. ;)

Would it be possible for you to publish an updated round-up post like this at least on a monthly basis? You keep adding to them and it would be much easier for peeps like me to find the ones we need to study again.

Pretty please with a prune on top? ROFL!!!

Anyway, here's the comment...

XXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Thanks for putting this together, @spiritualmax.

I'm compiling a list of Steemit posts to add at the bottom of all my posts and this will be one in the working titled Steemit Newbie & Efficient Profit Building * section.

My apologies, but you are one of the Steemian leaders I identified in my first few days that I've latched on to because you post relevant, uplifting and effective life and training material.

Even more importantly, you also provide an encouraging and supportive 'warm water' environment for both older Steemians and newbs.

Thanks for putting this compilation guide together. Upvoted, resteemed already and this will be the first Steemit post I'll FB/tweet today.

btw, I just noticed a few days ago that Max has thrown his artistic talents in to the ring over at SteemGigs. You can now order your very own Personalized Second Edition Steemit Trading Card for a very reasonable amount... and of course, pay with Steem. LOVE that!!!

I had featured his wonderful 1st Edition Collection on my timeline, but in case you missed it or just want to refresh your memory before ordering your own, here's his SUPER POPULAR STEEM Trading Cards MEGA-POST: First Edition Launch!.

EVERY.

SINGLE.

CARD.

IS.

AMAZINGGG.

You can read about his new ongoing Personalized Steemit Trading Card design SteemGig. That STEEMGIGS: I will make your personalized STEEM Trading Card - II Edition informational post has the link to his gig.

BUT JUST in case you want to dash right over to order and don't want to click-click, here's @SpiritualMax's direct gig link on SteemGigs:

STEEMGIGS: I will make your personalized STEEM Trading Card - II Edition.

Ok, that's it from me. Until our next issue of this Exploring Steemit's Sunken Treasure series, take good care and create an outstandingly happy and grateful week.

Angela

PS OH!!! Forgot to ask again... so how about it @SpiritualMax? Will you publish at least a monthly update of all your guides to make it easier for us all to find new and old tutorials AND help us keep them top/front of mind?

PPS If you right click and choose 'open in new browser window', you will find the current "Angela's Voice" On Steemit - Blog Post Archive.

PPPS But even better, you can tell me where to send you my private "Angela's Voice" new blog post notifications so you don't miss any of them.

Oh wow, this is a serious challenge to my productivity! Thank you once again for sharing a real gem! I managed three posts today (must have been holding them in for a few weeks lol) and I am now off to comment on wonderful posts by others, so I guess no more posts from me today! Your enthusiasm and passion are very infectious. I love that this platform is about as permanent as these things can get, so that we will always be able to come back and revisit what you had to say and recharge our energies ;-) Paul xxxx

It really moved me! :)
She is indeed passionate and enthusiastic, just like great bloggers should :)

Hey Paul,

You're going to love Max's guides. Seriously. I HAVE to put aside a bit of time every week to work through each one, starting with what I feel is most relevant first.

Three posts!!! That is AWESOME!!!

I am now off to comment on wonderful posts by others

EXCELLENT!!! I was thinking this morning after I'd commented on your Challenge post, that whenever you find you can't do a daily post, just do a 5-10 minute quick round of comments, Paul.

Comments build up your 1-on-1 interactions and eventually, your Steemit fan base. So I'm now trying to get back in to my first two week Steemit habit of meeting and greeting via comments at least 15-20 times per day.

Your enthusiasm and passion are very infectious.

Thanks so much. I wish I could highlight more of the great posts I find. I've never been on a platform that offers so much depth and variety of content. Have fun commenting and making friends, Paul.

I'm over the moon with such a nice post you've created of me :)

It really moved me that I touched you in this way... I didn't even knew I had such an impact and that is moving... thank you for sharing this.

This new series of yours looks like a great initiative as well... Great posts sink too fast in the Steem Article floods.

PLEASE support me in asking him to UPDATE this GUIDE COMPILATION at least monthly so we can keep up with all the fresh ones he adds.

My answer is of course! I'm going to do it and people will have you to thank :)

By the way, on some of my guides I go over how I don't resteem content out of choice and to keep my follower's list clean since they follow me and not people I follow, but I made an exception and resteemed this one.

Best of luck and thank you very much once again.

Cheers!|

I'm so happy (and relieved) you like it, Max. I meant to write up some of what you taught me so early on in my Quick Steemit Lessons series but haven't felt like doing those yet.

In a way I'm glad because this one honors all the work you've put in and the Blessings you've left for all Steemians through your guides.

You are the first 'experienced', successful Steemian who was warm and welcoming right from my start here on Steemit. That kindness and support meant a whole lot then, still does and always will.

Thank you so much. Not just for me, but for countless others whom I know you have inspired, helped and caused to remain blogging when the temptation to stop came knocking. Bless you, Max!

Oh and THANK you for your resteem. That is such an honor and means SOOO much to me. xox

Thank you for organzing this accountability challenge dear @angelacs! I am happy to connect with you, I follow you but do not forget to follow back so I can update your post

You are so welcome, @zuckerzombie! I hope you will advance further faster being a part of our SIBWA Challenge that you just joined yesterday. You have our support.

I am now following you but you'll find it much better to let that happen naturally without asking peeps here on Steemit to do that.. most do not like it when someone asks them to follow.

Just focus on publishing good, interesting and entertaining content and then doing your daily comment rounds to your current followers and new bloggers whose posts you like.

As you interact on their blogs, some will come to take a peek at your blog and some of those will follow you. Just have fun doing your thing and sharing wonderful content and your audience will grow.

Thank you very much for your support @angelacs and you are totally right to letting grow my audience naturally;-)
