Testing Out eSteem As A Blog Editor
Earlier this week I talked about how I was going to give eSteem a good test as my new go to mobile app for Steem.
So all week long I’ve been responding to comments and upvoting them via the app. And it’s been very smooth so far...
But as the week comes to a close I thought I’d test out the posting feature of the app so here I am...Typing a blog post on my phone!!
Not bad at all. And I love that we can add multiple images... Let’s add a pic....

So all in all this app has been great. Very easy to use and as you can see...Very easy to write a post with as well.
Of course my fat fingers make typo after typo. So chances are I’ll use this for quicker picture posts and short blog entries in the future.
Only 156 words and i’ve spent about 15 minutes on this already lol

eSteem is fantastic. An absolute joy to use and create with on the blockchain. I’m still learning as I play with more features but it gets the thumbs up from me for;
- Responding to comments
- Engaging with my readers
- Upvoting
- And creating short blog posts / picture posts

Generally, they all the same... But this one is OK because the admins are active and still developing the product...

Great to hear about your experience on eSteem! Do let me know if you would like to see something improved. There are some improvements and new features with next release, but always happy to get more feedback.
PS: We plan on doing feature set posts which show-cases each feature in action.
Thanks man, seriously, it's been perfect so far for me. Amazing job. Guess the only thing I have heard is the font size for posts....Not a big deal for me, but that has been what some folks have been telling me.
We will consider increasing font size for couple more points, thanks!

I use both eSteem & Partiko when I'm mobile too, mostly for upvoting & commenting. Have yet to use it for posting new blogs. 😄😄

Give eSteem a try, you won't regret it, by posting and commenting you earn more ESTM as oppose to just voting via eSteem. 😉
It was pretty good to be honest....A ton of customizable options to make it much more like a real blog editor and not just a way to post pics lol
I have issues with images with it, unfortunately, on the Android version. Some images are uploaded rotated, other ones flipped. Haven't got this issue with Partiko, although well... an alternative that's not abandoned and working just as well would be nice.
The next version will be far better than this. Most of the issues are fixed with new awesome features being integrated.

Great that you had a nice experience with eSteem Jon, and as to typos maybe try installing another keyboard, I am using Anysoft Keyboard on my Android phone, it's open source and has a lot of nice functions, plus it's very adaptable, and I don't do as many typos with it compared to other keyboards, I don't know if it's available on iOS though, keep up your great work and stay awesome.

Appreciated man....Yeah I wanted to test it just using the app and nothing else. Because at the end of the day, I more than likely wont use it much for blog posts...But nice to know it's there if I ever need it.
Yeah that's the real point there, it's easier to make it with a real keyboard and a big screen, but if the computer dies or you are away somewhere it's nice to have this functionality.
