Agate comes from the Chalcedony group of stones. Chalcedony is basically a microcrystalline type of quartz. It has a very lustrous look and is a semi translucent crystal. Agate is believed to be a fond crystal of the Egyptians. Agate Crystal was first found in Achates River in Sicily and from there it got its name. It’s a very common crystal all around the world and is very easily found.
Agate Crystals will be found in different colours like Pink, Brown, Blue, Grey, Yellow, Orange and White, but some of these have their own identity and their individual properties differ from each other. The ancient Islamic culture, Babylonians believed that Agate was a crystal to ward of all evil energies, whereas the Egyptians believed that Agate could help them give protection against natural disasters and the Chinese had an all together different belief, they believed that Agate was a crystals for spiritual protection. And some cultures gradually also believed that it is a crystal for plentiful harvest.
Agate Crystal properties helps one to connect with the energy of the earth, hence they can also help us in overall Aura cleansing. It helps in grounding and balancing and enabling a higher consciousness.
So let’s see the few famous Agates which are very powerful with their individual properties.
Blue Lace Agate -It’s a Crystal for the Throat Chakra. A Crystal for communication and self-expression. Also effective in soothing a troubled and disturbed mind. It’s a very calming crystal and its effect are at times felt instantly by just holding it for a few minutes in the dominant hand. If you are a person with high temper then this one is best to have by your side. This blue colour crystal with soft white bands carries with it the energies of water bringing in waves of confidence.
Moss Agate - This one is a crystal of recovery. If you have any long term illness then moss agate helps with recovery. The appearance of moss agate is associated with earth element. It’s helpful to get rid of addictions and also aids in implementing healthy habits. Brings peace of mind, it also helps in balancing the right and left brain hemisphere. Moss agate is a crystal associated with earth element and hence it’s also very good to be used for plants. It’s known as a farmer’s crystal. A few moss agate tumbles left in the plant pot will help nourish the plant.
Fire Agate - Associated with fire element, it best works with the lower chakras, specially Sacral and Solar plexus chakra Helps create a powerful shield around the body giving a psychic protection. It brings in a feeling of safety and security. The vibration of this crystal also enables the flow of spiritual energy. This one is a crystal for eyes, helping one from difficulties of conjunctivitis through glaucoma. It aids with clear inner vision and insight.
The other common agates if not sure how to use them, the best is to go ahead with the color of the Agate Crystals with the Chakra representation.

I didn't read all but what is the technique of healing with this crystals, sounds like a myth but i love alternative healing ways.
Yes my dear till the late 70s lot of peiple believed crystal healing to be a myth but scientific experments have proved that Crystals do help in healing process. Crystals are mostly formed by clustering of ions. There is a very systematic clustering that happens which enables a specific geometric patrern for each crystal giving the crystal its own energy vibrationary level. It is these high energy vibrations which enables the healing at a physical level.
But crystal healing cannot be a independant therapy, it's s complimentary therapy.
What the energy of the crystals basically do is it helps clear and balance the lower and disturbed energies in our body and our energy field, which inturn helps the healing faster with any of the master therapy being done :)

Thank you dear @traciyork for your blessings. When I started my Crystals studies I was never attracred to Agate but in the last one year I have been using a lot and see some very good results specially with the back pains.

You can look out for a genuine crystal shop in your area and get it. I never suggest to buy crystals online, but if its not available then you can from a genuine crystal online source.
Agates are very easily available.
