Hi steemians! Maybe some of you have been already know I'm a little addicted to wiki since this internet tool was invented. The most famous wiki is Wikipedia, where in 2006 I collaborated in the first portuguese written pages. Since I registered here in Steemit I wonder in mixing both models - Wiki host integrated with cryptocurrency - and as soon as I discovered Steem.center wiki I proposed, in December 2016, the idea of Active wiki users rewarded with Steem... wich now is facing a very dry reward pool moment :-(

Even with my routine in @steemcenterwiki project activities I am following other blockchain and wiki related initiatives. As this news article in Fortune says, Everipedia announced that wants to move to cryptocurrency rewards using EOS blockchain technology. The Lunyr project is already on air, in open beta since January. And being a wiki enthusiast I already registered and tested publishing there (details bellow). Remember, the inventor of wiki was inspired by the "wabi-sabi", a japanese expression that means "beauty of the impermanent and imperfect things".

Lunyr: CryptoKitties

Few days ago my first contribution to Lunyr, a platform self defined as a decentralized knowledge base built on Ethereum blockchain, was approved by peers (should we call them lunyrians?). Just to be in the same field and ecosystem I choose to write about the game that became a fever, quickly occupied the top positions between the most active smart contracts and even provocked a slow down in ETH transactions. And obviously reinforce the fact that everything succesfull on the internet must have cats, as I explained when Blockchain Cat was created :-) If you are interested, just click:

Beyond creating this article from scratch I also tested to edit and update an existing page, I included some external links in the article about ERC20 Token Standard taking advantage of studying the Ethereum world and its peculiarities. By the way, the Lunyr log on process is free but to save the contributions and new pages the user should pay Gas, a small amount of ETH for transactions fees, as I understand. To exchange STEEM/SBD for ETH the BlockTrades service is quick and easy, thanks to @casagrande who recommended it to me.

Submissions rewards

In the test, after submiting the pages editions - create the article about CryptoKitties and update the article about ERC20 Token Standard - I waited about one day to both being approved by the other platform registered users. After approval the articles appear in the My Submissions profile's section, below each article link there are numbers representing the Contributions Points (CP) and Honor Points (HP) earned. In my case, as you can check in the screen shot above, the values were the same for the different editions I made.

Wallet balance

In the website integrated wallet, very similar with Steemit disposal, we can see the balance of the cryptocurrencies, Ether (ETH), Lunyr (LUN), Contributions Points (CP) and Honor Points (HP). Sorry but I didn't make a research or even read the White Paper but it seems that CP is liquid (like STEEM/SBD) and HP is a non conversible indicator that defines the user reputation in the system. Being exagerated we can also compare HP with SP, but without the Power Down or Power Up options.

Exploring the Lunyr content I found the article about Steemit and apart the valuation of the LUN cryptocurrency (accordingly Coinmarketcap its price is U$12.70 right now) I plan to contribute writing more articles about things related with the Ethereum blockchain environment. The subjects about Steem blockchain I intend to continue publishing the the wiki Steem.center. I already commented with some fellows steemians my idea in proposing an integration between Mediawiki (the open source wiki engine used in Wikipedia and adopted by Steem.center) with the Steem blockchain. And submitting it through @utopian-io as a suggestion to developers. I still didn't define all the details but you can believe it is highlighted in my to-do list :-)
