FUD in altcoin telegram chats
So let's talk about people wanting to create FUD (Fear Uncertainty and Doubt) in certain telegram groups of smaller crypto currencies and how people react on this.
I have recently joined some telegram groups of smaller coins. I joined these because the market got manipulated on the sell side so that the coin just went totally crashing after I bought a certain amount of them. There have been two totally different experiences in these groups.
In the first case most people were totally positive and were confident that their coin was going to bounce back. But the down side of this is when you even state the obvious with no intention to start FUD, people would attack you. For example if you just say "some people are panic selling" which quite often happens when the market is manipulated quite hard, they would start attacking you on this statement. This statement does not even say something about the future of the coin, it just states the obvious; when a lot of people are selling and less people are buying, prices are gonna drop.
On the other side there has been telegrams where the are a lot of people just talking bad about the coin and trying to scare people away from buying the coin. Chances are that these people are just trying to get their coins as cheap as possible and try to manipulate the market rather by talking than by manipulating the market directly. If they really hated the coin, why would they then be in the chat of that coin wasting their time?
What are you experiences and thoughts about this?
