Blockfolio app, are you using it?
If your new to the Cryptosphere, here is an app for your phone that you may want to get, Blockfolio. (I know most people that have been in the crypto sector for a while may already have it)
It is an app that tracks your digital coins/tokens, buys/sells, shows you graphs, the latest news... Below is an example portfolio of a few of the coins/tokens, you can search for any of the cryptos and add it to your portfolio.
On the top, you can select a graph of your portfolio and choose the timeline, 1 day, week, month, year, ect...
To the right of portfolio is the latest 'news' which you can configure specific sources in the settings tab.
You get these options from 'Settings'
The settings menu, (I personally like the 'Nightmode' setting)
When you tap on a specific coin, it takes you to the 'Details' page which shows you a graph and the latest price data.
The 'Book' page where you can see the buys/sells for a specific exchange.
You can set an 'alert' when it hits a specific low or high price.
You can add or sell from the 'Holdings' tab and it will show you your gains/losses.
I have attempted to pull up the app and have seen a 'server is not accessible' type of message. When there are a lot of people pulling up information in this app while the markets are quickly rising/falling, it appears that the server is unable to handle the volume.
In general, it is a good app to have to check your crypto portfolio throughout the day.
Is it for everyone? No, as someone with a large amount of coins/tokens would probably not want to have that information listed on their phones.
You can go into settings and setup a passcode in order to open the app, but I would speculate that the coders at Blockfolio may be able to see the portfolio if they wanted too... ?
If your already using it, how often are you checking the app on a daily basis? I'm probably on it 8-10 times a day...
This is awesome, just it up on my phone and it works great. I had a spreadsheet I updated manually to track the same info which was a hassle, this will save me a bunch of time. Slightly worried about the privacy though. If I were a whale I'd probably be a bit nervous about using this.
If your just a 'regular' joe regarding how much you have, I wouldn't worry about privacy too much. If I had >$100,000.... I may think twice about posting my crypto information into an app...
