South Africa's Pick n Pay Tests Bitcoin Payments
The second biggest supermarket chain in South Africa, Pick n Pay is now beginning a trial to accept bitcoin as payment from the consumers at one their major branches.
The supermarket chain uses Electrum as their payment platform and uses bitcoin exchange Luno as their bitcoin payment infrastructure.
Electrum will provide a cloud-based enterprise platform for bitcoin transactions.

American Survey: Young Generations in the Country Choose Bitcoin for Investment
LendEDU, an online student loan marketplace released a new survey that younger Americans in the US are more likely to invest in Bitcoin.
The survey was conducted in August from 1,000 participants from all over the country.
Almost 78% of the respondents know or have heard about Bitcoin and people ages from 18 to 34 years old are more interested in Bitcoin investment than older groups according to the survey.
Only 10% of people aging from 45 to 54 years old had interests in bitcoin investment and only 5% of people aging 55 years old have the same feeling.

Stratisplatform has Released its Stratis Identity Proof of Concept Public Beta
The Stratis Identity app is the first Stratis Plarform Proof of Concept launched in September 15, 2017.
This project is made possible by the joint effort of Stratis and Escalate Group as the first building blocks of many possible apps on Stratis Blokchain.
The Proof of Concept will feature personal and corporate identity management capabilities which will allow users to attest their identity and share the data with other users through social media.
