Coinbase Announced that Users Can Now Buy Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin INSTANTLY with US Banks
On October 12, 2017 Coinbase announced that instant bitcoin, litecoin and ethereum purchases using US bank accounts are now available in their platform.
Previously, it takes several days for a customer to receive their cryptocurrency from their purchases using their bank account.
The maximum instant purchase limit is $25,000 but may vary to individual limits.
This move is part of Coinbase's mission to make their platform the most trusted, safe and user-friendly cryptocurrency exchange.
The US State Department is Currently Exploring How the Blockchain Tech could simplify Bureaucracy
A few days ago, the US State Department hosted a Blockchain Forum called 'Blockchain@State' in Washington D.C.
During the forum, the US Deputy Secretary of State John Sullivan has said that they are interested in learning whether the blockchain tech have direct applications to a lot of the fundamental features of their proposed design.
The fund needed for the redesigning of the state department is $10 billion which the government has to save over the next 5 years.
Features of the proposal includes streamlining international aid processes to to boost the national security by steps like improved background checks.
Also, United States might join the trend where India, Estonia and Dubai are currently exploring the possibility of replacing traditional IDs with blockchain identities.
bitFlyer has been Granted License as a Cryptocurrency Exchange in Japan
The Financial Services Agency (FSA) of Japan has granted bitFlyer, Japan's largest Bitcoin and Blockchain company, the license as a registered cryptocurrency in the country.
In four years of operation, bitFlyer has grown to over 800,000 users and trades over 1.5 trillion yen a month today.
This move was made by bitFlyer with its goal to ensure better customer protection through asset segregation and FSA registration that requires auditing and KYC.
bitFlyer submitted theapplication in May 2017and was approved and registered on September 29, 2017.
