Multi-Trillion Dollar Cryptocurrency Market Soon - Cardano Founder

The co-founder and previous CEO of Ethereum Charles Hoskinson and founder of Cardano shared some hopeful and uplifting message in twitter expressing that the future of cryptocurrency is bright.

He expresses that tens of trillions of dollars will be entering the space eventually from locked up capital of wall street.

Hoskinson and other cryptocurrency enthusiast believe that the market is still in its infancy stage.

He also added that regulation is important for this space to thrive.

Currently, cryptocurrency prices are at their all time lows for the year. and this could be an important inflection point as low prices and regulatory clarity are exactly the things institutional investors are looking for.

Bitcoin At $10,000 By 2019

Founder of TradingAnalysis.com Todd Gordon, has predicted that the price of bitcon to drop to $4,000 prior to a rebound above 10,000 by 2019.

He cites market volatility as the main reason when asked.

The analyst also mentions the current difference of highs and lows is only 17 percent average which is low compared to past differences of 20, 30 and 40 percent per week.

Also, he reveals that cryptocurrency is very technically driven therefore recovery from losses using technical and market sentiments to recover is possible.

Gordon’s website successfully predicted the price of gold to go down nearly 50% from $41 to $26 in 2015.

US Lawmaker Calls For Leniency On ICO Regulations

US Representative Warren Davidson has called on his colleagues to have a “light touch” approach in framing the regulatory framework for the Initial coin offering (ICO) marketing in a talk show in CNBC.

Davidson is a member of the House Financial Services Committee of the House of Representatives.

He states that the US government wants a strong and vibrant capital market that is backed by regulatory certainty.

He believes that the government should strike a balance of protecting the consumers in ICOs but also at the same time allow the market to continue to offer the benefits of distributed ledger technology (DLT).

Governments around the world struggle with how to regulate ICOs.

Mayo Clinic Exploring Blockchain Technology

London-based blockchain company, MedicalChain has signed a partnership with American medical center Mayo Clinic to explore how blockchain and other types of distributed ledger could be used for the storage of medial record.

Medicalchain uses distributed ledger technology to safely store electronic health records in a platform where it can be accessed, updated and shared securely.

Dr. Abdullah Albeyatti, CEOof Medicalchain said that his company will provide knowledge regarding blockchain and cryptocurrency while Mayo Clinic will provide healthcare and health IT expertise.
