Major Exchanges Binance, Bittrex and Bitfinex Temporarily Halted New Account Registrations
With the rise in demand for cryptocurrencies, exchanges such as Binance Bittrex and Bitfinex temporarily stopped accepting new accounts applications.
Over the last half of 2017, exchanges has reached surging highs of user signup and has led to major infrastructure concerns.
Bitfinex will resume signups starting January 15, 2018 while Bittrex and Binance has not provided yet a date for reopening new account signups.
IBM and Comcast Are Currently Backing Up A New Blockchain Startup
A new blockchain startup investment fund, MState is currently backed by the tech giant IBM and the venture arms of telecoms conglomerate Comcast.
MState aims to help fund blockchain startups all over the world and ultimately give them connection to Fortune 500 customers.
The startup accelerator is planning to invest $25k to $50k each in five or six companies in the coming months this year.
The agreement is MState will receive funding form Comcast while IBM will provide them services.
