CryptoKitties App Hits $12 Million In Sales
The Ethereum-based app that caused congestion in Ethereum network lately has generated more than $12 million in sales.
Cryptokitties is a decentralized gaming app which allows users to collect digital kittens, which is more likely similar to 'Tamagochi'.
Its unique feature is that each digital kitten represents a unique crypt asset which ownership cannot be altered with the use of Ethereum blockchain.
The value of these crypto kitties are based on their rarity and scarcity and the game just demonstrated a seamless and frictionless trading of digital assets, which could be used in finance and other major large scale industries.
Bitcoin Markets Sharply Spiked After CBOE Futures Launch
As CBOE launched the futures at 6PM EST, markets showed a huge rally for Bitcoin.
Bitcoin price started to rise 12 hours before the launch from around $13,800 to $15,400 according to coinmarketcap chart.
At this time of writing, Bitcoin sits at $16,880 with Korean markets leading at $17,660 per Bitcoin.
This shows that the markets really likes CBOE futures and looking forward for the CME's futures launch on December 18, 2017.
