Marginless is a new Sports Betting Blockchain Project I discovered through a short youtube add. The way I tend to do these first impressions is by being extremely sceptical. Very few project will probably make it in the end and many of them will turn out to be ICO cash grabs so I am mainly looking for signs towards that.

I've gone through their Whitepaper and they aim to do a similar thing to what most of these project aim for. A decentralised betting exchange with lower fees (1%) compared to traditional bookmakers where their own tokens will have to be used to place bets. Whey you own 250.000 of their tokens they will allow you to "play bookmaker". Very little actual technical details are given in the whitepaper.

It seems to be all about promoting their ICO as it is the first thing you see when you visit their website. They give bonuses for early token sales, run youtube ads and are even giving away a new BMW X6 which are all red flags to me. They will be using part of the fees (10%) for a monthly jackpot which points towards them being more focussed on casual sports bettors and they will also have an affiliate program. For the settlement of the results they will opt for a hybrid oracle solution.

They are also linked to tipsterhub and plan on integrating several of its main functions into the marginless system. They seem to be Lithuanian based and most of the team members are young guys.

Overall not a project that sparks my personal interest right now

      Come on @costanza, how can you not fall for that BMW? :-)

      Joking aside, @vashkevich37 left the comment here promoting scorum as the sports blogging platform. I went to check it out, they are planning to launch betting exchange June 2018. So far, they have stats portal and fantasy sports prototype that are working.

      I think they should be a target for your review come June.

      It's not intended as publicity and I don't recommend to ivest in this project.

      These posts are just a way for myself as a sports bettors to stay informed on all the new projects that are available. I only have small investments in wagerr and betterbetting myself for now.
