From ICOs to AIRDROPs and How ARK holders / ARK ecosystem will benefit from it?

We are again witnessing U-turn on "how projects are launched " in crypto space. 2017 was a year of ICOs, crazy marketing campaigns, unbelievable high prices and bulls screaming on every corner about infinite grow of BTC and other cryptocurrencies, everyone falling for ICO advertisements and throwing their money into highly hyped ponzi projects, probably never seeing their investments again.
This year there is totally different story. Smart investors are long gone - slowly re-entering again. Others are left without capital watching their stagnating investments evaporate or already sold with losses( Buy high - sell low anomaly ).
We are currently witnessing a new model on which projects are launched trough small private investments and airdrops. Investors and funds are getting scarce and to get new investors on a board the eyes of newly established projects are turning to long term holders and sturdy communities like ARK ecosystem.
We are probably going to witness Airdrop craze phenomena in next months and years on ARK ecosystem and this is where the true value of ARK begins.
To keep it short :
Easy start up - small investment - easy development.
ARK DPOS model shines here - even more after core rewrite V2 (and VM smart contracts). You don't need thousands of miners or thousands of stakers with open wallets, but group of delegates and stakeholders. It's much more economical and easy solution for newly established projects and launching your own blockchain.
AIRDROPS win- win scenario
Because new established projects receive far less - minor funding it's more development orientated, this leads to far more friendlier community then marketing base community.
Airdrops and free token distribution to main chain holders - benefits :
getting people interested into new project from the main chain to newly established like ARK ecosystem chain or back
Cheaper and easier community startup and supporters, experienced delegates running their nodes.
even more rewards for main-chain holders trough staking after mainet launch( dpos model)
Conclusion
*More Interest into ARK and startups.
*More people buying ARK coins to eventually receive or participate in free token distribution ( or Airdrops) of off chain projects.
*ARK value increase
