La tasa de bitcoin cayó después de un ataque "medio" pirata informático. (08/03/2018)
El valor de la divisa criptográfica cayó a 9,4 mil dólares el 8 de marzo, el bitcoin se elevó a 10 mil dólares, y luego volvió a descender. Hackeo Binance usuarios sospechosos del intercambio, algunos de ellos no podían retirar dinero del sitio.
El intercambio informó que algunos usuarios fueron víctimas de un intento de phishing, pero, de acuerdo con Binance, el sitio en sí no fue pirateado. Según Binance, todos los activos de los clientes están seguros, el dinero no fue robado.
CoinDesk agrega que la tasa de bitcoin también fue influenciada por las críticas de la Comisión de Bolsa y Valores de los Estados Unidos (SEC).
El regulador señaló que algunas plataformas de este tipo ofrecen servicios para comercializar activos que se rigen por la definición de valores. Es decir, los sitios funcionan como intercambios, pero no están registrados en la SEC. Por lo tanto, los fondos de los inversores no están protegidos, concluyó la comisión.
