XRP is made by RIpple. Ripple is a payment network that can handle fast transactions. XRP and Ripple are not the same though. XRP is very fast way faster than bitcoin. But some people don't like ripple cause it has more of a central authority. But when you think about it so does bitcoin because those who can mine bitcoin has a lot of power too.
dang that's great sir cosmiccrimes, I think they are one of the coins that have a good chance of surviving long term don't you? Because don't they have to do with making money transfers super fast, sounds similar to xrp I think you mentioned about.

I think xrp is more centralized and stellar is more people’s coin. I have both. I have hope for them as well.
