Good day everyone! Today let me introduce to you the 6th page of my steemit cookbook hehe, for my #cooking-lesson no. 6 I will show to you how to make "KamoteCue/sugar coated sweet potato". This is the easiest and most budget friendly recipe compared to my previous cooking lesson recipes so far.

What Is KamoteCue?

Kamote cue is a popular and well known snack/street food in the Philippines, Kamote cue is made of fried sweet potato coated with white or brown sugar.

Kamotecue is very fast easy to cook and all of the ingridients are cheap and very easy to find. So if you're reading thist post, maybe you should try this one too because this is the type of food that fore sure you and your kids will like Lol.

Let's start the cooking!

Ingridients:

  • sweet potato

  • sugar brown or white

  • cooking oil

Procedure:

20191107_012416.jpg first we need to peel the sweet potato, then wash the peeled sweet potato using cold water.

20191101_175836.jpg then after peeling and washing the sweet potato, we need to slice it (with a minimun thickness 1 inch).

20191107_012619.jpg then put brown or white sugar on a plate and coat the sliced sweet potato with sugar.

20191107_022431.jpg then preheat the pan with cooking oil(midium heat) and wait until the cooking oil gets boiling then put the sugar coated sweet potato in the fan and wait until the color turns into golden brown (it takes 3-5 mins), then at last the cooking is done.

20191107_012906.jpg then after cooking, put the kamotecue/sugar coated sweet potato in the strainer to drain the remaining oil.

Then our kamotecue is done and ready to be serve...

20191101_183643.jpg looking delicious right? I think you should try to cook this one, it is very easy to make, budget friendly and simple but delicious as well, so you will never regret cooking kamotecue Lol...
