[CONTEST] MSP Waves : Radio Show Reviews Contest update - 2 days left to enter, 19 SBD still to be won

in #contest6 years ago

Some great reviews have come in for the Radio Show Reviews Contest - but there are still two days to get your reviews in.

Rewards have been given to the reviews that have already been submitted and there is still 19 SBD left to won.

Get reviewing now!

The contest closes at midnight UTC on Thursday 31 May. That is an hour after My Life in 8 Songs so you could even review that show if you fancy.

There are still great shows to be aired before the deadline for the contest.

On Wednesday the shows include Shut Up & Listen with @kodaxx, The Resteem Radio Show with @ma1neevent & @poeticsnake and the new Utopian Open Source Radio Show with @jedigeiss.

On Thursday there is The Dancing Dreamers with DJ Damashii @rodeo670, Songwriter Shop Talk with @meno, The Mix with @WipGirl and then My Life in 8 Songs with @pennsif just before the closing time.

The full show details can be found in the Weekly Show Listing post :

You are welcome to submit one review each day - so there are still two chances to win.

My thanks for @uniwhisp and MSP Waves Radio for generously donating the prizes for the contest.

All you have to do is listen in to one of MSP Waves shows and post a review of the show.

It is not just for my two shows (My Life in 8 Songs and The Alternative Lifestyle Show), but also for the other 30+ shows that run each week.

The reviews should include :

  • the name of the show and the host
  • the date and time of the broadcast
  • how you listened to the show (eg via MSP Waves Discord channel or via Twitch or via DLive)
  • what you liked and enjoyed about the show
  • what you disliked about the show
  • how much of the show you listened to

You can also optionally include :

  • comments on the technical delivery of the show
  • the quality or choice of guests if appropriate
  • suggestions for improvement to the show
  • a screenshot showing you in the audience if you tuned in via Discord

Once you have made your review post a link to it in the comments of this post, or any follow up post I make for this contest.

Also make sure you tag with the review with #mspwavesreview

I will read or watch every review, and for every review that meets the criteria I will give an upvote according to the quality and depth of the review.

I can't give any guarantees but some of the other MSP Waves hosts might visit your reviews and drop a vote or two as well.

I will also be sending some SBD awards as well - both for the very best reviews and for the people submitting the most reviews that meet the quality standards. There is now 19.5 SBD remaining in the prize pot.

So make sure you listen to as many MSP Waves shows as you can. Write or film reviews and get upvotes and maybe even some SBDs as well.

Happy reviewing...

Hi @Pennsif, is this a one off contest, or going to be a regular feature?

Cheers,

Karl.

Hi Karl, as the take-up has been rather low, I suspect it will be a one-off.

Host of the My Life in 8 Songs and The Alternative Lifestyle Show radio shows on MSP Waves.

Editor of the Weekly Schedule of Steem Radio Shows.

Founder of the A Dollar A Day charitable giving project.

Don't take it personally, it's just a symptom of the platform slowly (rapidly?) dying...

I'll chuck in an entry tomorrow if I get a chance,

Karl.

Ah yes, I remember now, that is why I don't look at the statistics anymore...

Unfortunately I was out all day yesterday (off line for 8 hours!) so didn't get a chance to review anything. Shame, I would've gone for one of the witness chats probably!
