Bounty Hunters! Welcome to Swag Sunday, your weekly digest of contests and giveaways on Steemit!
Firstly, a quick announcement, with a question..
More and more content aggregators have been popping up on Steemit, and there has been a lot of debate about the subject. On the one hand, they can do a great job of highlighting content that might otherwise fall between the cracks into obscurity, and on the other hand, some of the aggregators have been making a lot of money by featuring good content but not sharing the spoils with their "surrogate contributors".
I'm passionate about Steemit and want to encourage and reward more fun and varied incentives on the platform. That is why Swag Sunday was created in the first place. I love having the best contests featured together
I'm pledging 50% of rewards from Swag Sunday to the people who run these amazing contests, in the form of STEEM DOLLARS, but ideally it would be more. Unfortunately, SP is far less liquid than SD, so attempting to power down and divvy out STEEM would be quite frankly, a pain in the arse.
So I'd like to ask you all. How should I proceed?
1 - Quit Swag Sunday. It's not necessary, or worth the trouble.
2 - Continue like this - donate the SD to the features, keep the SP.
3 - Number 2, but actively ask people not to Upvote Swag Sunday, thus keeping it a "for the love" thing.
Ideally, Steemit would have a "resteem" feature, so we could easily share, promote, and/or aggregate other peoples posts, while only getting a small, reasonable amount of rewards for our efforts.
Until further notice, ALL SD rewarded on Swag Sunday (first payment) will be divided and transferred to the featured contest runners. It is not assumed to be added to their prize pool. What they choose to do with it is absolutely up to them.

Steemit Photo Challenge
The most successful competition on Steemit goes from strength to strength. Huge prizes every week, yet retains a friendly vibe all round. Run by @jamtaylor and with extra support from @berniesanders. This weeks theme is "Natural Landscapes" and @dercoco will be the guest judge.
1st prize: 150 STEEM
2nd prize: 100 STEEM
3rd prize: 50 STEEM
10 STEEM for each honourable mention
Steemit Food Challenge
The sweetest contest on Steemit right now.
"Desserts to die for! Show us your sweet masterpieces and the ultimate treat to end your meal!"
1st prize: 100 SBD
2nd prize: 50 SBD
3rd prize: 35 SBD
The Steemit Crypto Challenge
Ciphers and pastebins and forensics and decoding. As a mere mortal, I still have no idea what it's all about, but it looks fascinating.
Prize pool varies but is in the $hundreds.
Steemit Photography Guessing Game
@simba has started running a fun challenge. You guess the identity of the mysterious macro photo.
Prize varies but entering is a simple matter of commenting!
Crazy Challenge
The Crazy Challenge is a regular fun photo/selfie challenge. Rewards vary.
Steemit Girl HALO Art Challenge
A drawing, painting, or photoshop of @halo .
Prize dependent on post rewards.

Thank you @condra, its nice having these all these all in one place. I think, the way you are doing it is fair. You are basically giving us some free advertising. I think you should be rewarded for compiling these, and by splitting the sbd equally between the people you feature is great bonus for them.

I think Swag Sunday is a great idea and agree with @halo , it's a great bonus for us, I'm so thankful! You should also get rewarded :) A "resteem" feature seems like a really good idea, hope it become true!
