Home can be your physical residence- the place you come back to after a hard days work to take off your shoes and relax.
Home can be a corner in your favorite coffeeshop where you go to get away from it all and feel comfortable that you belong.
Home might be your parents house where you grew up, and you might only go back a few times a year but there is nowhere else you feel more "at home."
And still home could be lying in your life partners arms, wherever you may be, feeling completely at ease, safe and secure.
What is home to you? Where does your heart call home?

Rules:
- The photo must be your own. No plagiarism or you will be disqualified from any and all contests.
- Add a sentence or two telling us where it is, why it's important to you, and anything else you'd like us to know.
- The photo must be submitted in the comment section of this post.
- Any medium or format- camera, smartphone, drone, tablet- use whatever you want to take the photo.
- Basic processing is allowed.
- Color or Black and White, your choice.
- Only one image entry per user. If you submit two, only the first will be considered.
Entries will be judged by relevance, image quality, creativity, and general aesthetics by myself and a guest judge. Yes, it is subjective. You do not need to be a professional photographer to enter! You just need to have a camera (even your smart phone will do) a place you call home and a heart :) If you would like to be a guest judge one week please let me know.

Home is where the heart is and my heart belongs to my family. They are the ones who keeps me in check and focus in my goals. They are precious to me and now our family will grow once more because I am currently pregnant! Hope our new baby grows well and happy just like his older brother! ๐

My obsession - yes I know it is just a cat? But to me he is not just a cat - he touches my soul in so many ways and gives me so much love, with a few scratches now and then. Will of his own, just like his mom hahaha

Iโve been to different places, Iโve known different faces. But nothing and no one could ever compare how safe, secure, comfortable, and loved I am when he is beside me.
His love feels like home to me.
That is so beautiful <3 I understand completely: When my boyfriend and I had only been together a few months, we were talking about places we'd visited and he asked me where my favorite place in the world was. Without hesitation I replied, "in your arms." :) True story <3

So sweet. ๐ The idea that we always have those arms to hold on to when the world is falling apart, that someone is right there to always believe in us when we refused to believe in ourselves, to have that someone who knows every tiny little details of you and still stayed no mattered how flawed we are.
That is home.

This is not my own home.but i am living here for almost two decade with my employers family.A house is not home without love peace and harmony .Thats why i love this home even its not mine because i feel comfortable .I thank God for giving me a home away from my own home.

My home is Atlanta Georgia USA . Born here , raised not far from here and this has been my home for the past 29 years. I moved here shortly after getting married and It was here where I brought my daughter home from the hospital when she was born. I got the house in the divorce and this is where I call home.

In the south we do not get much snow so it is an event even if we only get a fraction of an inch.

That's right! Poor furbug probably thought it was the apocalypse! I know my rescue kitties freaked out and were all panicky last winter when they were watching their first snowfall!!
Hopefully she wont fall in the lake and have to get up close and personal with someone by a fire..lol Apocalypse! that is funny..
Sweet Tea would survive by trying to get inside my coat.
