1/ Put yourself in your Followers shoes

What is it that you like about what you are selling or promoting? It is your challenge to transfer your passion to your content. And that is why an image content strategy is so important as an image can tell the opening story for you.

2/ Build Your Brand

Adding a great picture that tells the story and writing a great marketing call to action is not a content strategy. It becomes a strategy when you post consistently, Each new post lends itself to the last. They relate in some way.When you become consistent in what you do you get known for what you do. And you start to build your personal brand awareness.

If food is your thing then you create great images around food, if it is car post about cars. Don’t mix them up.
If you add text to an image (and that is a very good idea) then choose a font and stick to that font. Make your images recognizable to your followers. Make them professional to attract new followers.

3/ Use Great Images

Just about all of us have access to a mobile phone these days with a camera so it is really easy to create images that you can then use in your Image content strategy. You don’t have to be super good a photography as there are tons of really cool apps and extensions that can take an image and really make it something special that you can use. Instagram and The8App have built in features designed to help you create better content. They even allow you to group images as stories so you can set up a different content marketing campaigns within your accounts. There are also free to use image sites that you can take images from, just be sure to check the terms of each site for what you can and can’t do. Unsplash is a favorite of ours.
