I had to laugh with the steemfollower and hope I don't get flagged to within an inch of my life as well on that. That is why I don't like forced engagement. I'm never going to be a fan of it.
Which brings me to engagement. Indeed, you got to put in the time and effort to make connections, network and build relationships with people. Otherwise it is really hard to succeed.
I like how you illustrated that Steemit is an orchard and that your content is the bedrock and trees. It is so important to have good content.
Promo-mentors rock!!! Absolutely the best place to get the right kind of attention to your blog indeed. I love how there are mentors in it that gives great quality feedback to people.
Ha ha. Yeah I wanted to be careful about what I said with steemfollower. Their vote sharing exchange was useful at first but all the follower exchange does is make your feed unusable as it gets filled up with authors who have no interest in what you blog about nor you them. I feel like I need to go through everyone in my follower list to see who are people I want to read but it would take days. lol

Yeah man. @buttcoins you're right there. Well, that is the silver lining of steemfollower for sure. I don't wanna get all emotional... but you're my oldest friend on steemit. It was a blast hanging out at xmas and I'm pretty sure, like 99.9% that I'm going to be over to visit Guatemala by the end of the year. Fingers crossed
No one will ever understand how glad I am that I met you on promo-mentors. It's so selfless what you do for the community through your free post review in the poetry be fiction section. And here again you have stated what seems like the commandment on the walls for every newbies in this community. I only wish they will take time and go through this article. I am glad that my mentor sessions on promo-mentors have been of some help for you and in evolving your blog. That is what I do it for, knowing that I have helped people by sharing my knowledge and learned from them also by looking at there blogs at articles etc which are not in my area of expertise, this is what it's all about. Thanks for letting me know!!! I always enjoy a dive related post and I can't wait for the 'community' implementation on the steem blockchain which will hopefully make the diving related content more visible and easier to follow.
I'm itching to go diving again but I have to wait 1 more month till the water temperatures go above 10°. I only have a wetsuit and not dry suit so the dive season start mid April till the beginning of November. Can't wait to hit my first quarry of the year and share my dives with the community here.
