🐳 WHALESHARES: Community Challenge Ended Today

The challenge was to write a post detailing how the Whaleshares community has helped you and/or the community you represent. WHALESHAREs are both a token and a community, this challenge was to focus more on the community aspect. Thank you to everyone who participated in the challenge. Several entries were received, the winners are announced below.

This post went into great detail about how the Whaleshares community has helped @bushkill in his Steemit journey. It discussed the leadership of the Whaleshares community, the popular "Promote your Post" live event, and members who are frequently active in the Whaleshares discord. This post was a terrific glimpse into how the Whaleshares Community is a supportive environment, and when paired with the token, really changes the Steemit experience.

2nd place - @chuckyfucky

This posts details how @chuckyfucky was actually able to quit his job and replace it after discovering the Whaleshares community and token. Chucky is the Spanish mod in the Whaleshares community, and has played an important role in allowing the spanish speaking members to be engaged in the community. This post went on to talk about the the leadership of the community and how the community and @officialfuzzy helped him launch his translation project.

3rd place - @vidafitnessfeliz

This post details how @vidafitnessfeliz was greeted warmly by the entire Whaleshares community. He entered the room knowing very little English, luckily, we have several bilingual members, and leadership was able to find someone to translate, so he was able to participate in the live events. He goes on to detail to how listening in on the different voice chats has actually helped him to learn some English. "I was impressed that day because they helped me with much patience and kindness", this is a direct quote from his post. This post gives an excellent glimpse into what the Whaleshares community represents, it also highlights how the Whaleshares community teaches on-boarding to https://bitshares.org .
