I want to start this off by explaining what is going on here. In about 11 hours (I've changed that twice since I got started on this post 😂), an amazing Steemian that goes by the name @suesa, will be closing a #delegation #contest. First, I would like to thank Miss @suesa for hosting this, what you are doing here is amazing. I was listening to a talk show on #MSPWaves Radio yesterday, that was hosting a lot of our #Witnesses. This issue was specifically discussed, and it seems like everyone wants to see some kind of award-able system that allows us to essentially adopt minnows. Specifically, they mentioned maybe splitting returns on the delegated SP. Anyways, this is right up my alley. I love introducing myself to the new comers and pointing them in the direction of all the fun stuff, already. If I could get to a point where I could sponsor users, I would in a heartbeat! Second, what this post is about. I promise to take the upmost care of & respect your #STEEM Power delegation! Here's why & how...

1. I 💚 Steem! (The #blockchain, #Steemit, #Dtube, #Dsound, and all the other awesome tools built on the Steem Blockchain!)
2. I know this is going to sound a bit sad or cliche, but I can't stop telling friends and family about this stuff. I am determined to enlighten the people I love around me, lol. I would love, love, love to have the "clout" per se, on this platform, to inspire on-boarding new users from my local community that I convert to join! 😂 Without a little wind to put in their sails, I fear losing Steemians before we get a chance to keep them.
3. I jumped right in the mix! I'm currently vying for a spot on MSP Waves Radio! I'm most excited about this. The project is aimed at curating music from the Steem Blockchain and Steemit artists! A live DJ mix of music made by our community. Something very hip to help draw the outside world in, and bring notoriety to our musicians, artists, and producers.
4. I've also joined the Steem Freelancer's Guild. One, to help build some extra Steem, but two, to build a market around Steem! One of the key things we need for our currency to take off and stand strong. With my gigs, I'm looking to jazz up individuals' blogs with a custom look or something fun. I'm not insistent on compensation, I'm here to help, but it is nice to receive the gesture and to be able to invest back in the platform! I'm gladly offering to mix some of your favorite music together or blend a custom mixtape for whom ever to share. I'm also going to focus on using Open Source programs to complete these gigs too, also, further supporting the community that created this platform. I like to share little how to's and talk about new things I learn. Share knowledge!
5. I'm a true believer in decentralization and open source brain power! Moving into this new technological age, with all these new moving parts, like A.I. We as a human collective, need to be better equipped as a whole. These are the stepping stones to something like an Earth Human Group Think, more or less.
6. I don't, and would never, self-vote! The idea here is to share the maximum you can on a daily basis with others, so in return, the community does the same for you. To self-vote is very short sighted, in my humble opinion, and possibly a little arrogant. I would hope you think your content is good before clicking the "Post" button, just saying. I find myself locked in an eternal battle with my Voting Weight %, due to this ideal 😂. I have used a couple free upvote bots from the MSP, but only out of desperation to grease the gears & get the engine up and running.
7. I am an entertainer, creator, and over-sharer at heart. Over the past decade of social media use, and building of my brand, I have always shared free downloads of mixes, noted contributing artists, and supported others in my industry with a passion! I attend shows, publicize them, run a website for the community as a whole (http://www.pleasureislandnightlife.info), geared towards exposing everyone in the industry in the best way possible to the incoming tourist market every season. As far as what I have done here on Steemit, just getting my hands wet with helping out, but I know it's not super effective until I'm more visible. 9. I managed to land a Moderator position on the Steemit Local Music Society Discord Server, already. I know, crazy! All new to me, but excited to get involved. Another place I hope to spread the love, support other artists, get people excited about Steem, and help support this platform's growth however I can.
10. With this delegation, I promise to affect this community in every possible positive way I can. I'd love to host contests in the future when I have enough SBD to sponsor something like that. I will continue to welcome new members (I like to swing by the "New" "Introduceyourself" Feed from time to time) with overwhelming enthusiasm and share cool places or tools they might enjoy to help get them started here. The voting power would be especially useful in that regard! That way, I can support other minnows with more than my pennies 😇. Even tough they are awesome pennies, 😂. I will always be curating good music on this platform! As a professional DJ, it's kind of my thing. I will not waste your precious influence on poor content. I, too, would like to see great quality in our community!
