Colourfulphotography? Animalphotography? Both?
I was reviewing some photos when I found these ones...
It's probably one of the most comon birds we can find, they're in almost every pond! The male is the easiest to identify, but although the female colors are not so bright, they can easily be identified by that blue "spot" (called speculum) on the wing, common to both sexes.
This guy was taking care of its plummage near a pond in Iceland... and these photos are probably the most nitid ones I have of a mallard :)
