True friends never apart, maybe in distance but never in heart - Friday Skyblue

One of the most exciting part of my day is spending time with these people, they are what I called "True Friends".
Well, before we became true friends our relationship underwent the tough test of time and the truth is, we never expected that we will later become best of friends.

We met them six years ago from our previous company, we became business partners and typical friends. We went to the far town of Tacloban to build our small business where our relationship has been tested. We financially struggle until it came to the point that we parted our ways and the competition between our groups became more intensive. Rumors and gossips were all around destroying our relationship more. Months had passed and the deadly super typhoon haiyan hit the town. Despite everything that happened we were still thinking about their situation, after all, they are still our kababayan and they once became our friends. While I'm staring at the devastated town, I saw them coming and my heart felt the happiness knowing that they were still alive and doing fine. We had time to share stories on how they survived the killer storm surge during the typhoon. They thought they are going to die as the water was only more or less 5 inches distance from the roof where they were standing. That moment as they were standing strong on the roof as the wind was strongly pushing them, the last thought that they had in mind was to send us a text message to let us know where we can find them in case they fail to survive. Suddenly the network got shut off as all cell sites tower already fell due to the strong wind. They kept holding on with prayer until the typhoon stopped. As soon as the water level went down they rushed to find us. Our struggle didn't just end there because we had to find our way home despite tough situation. Together we stand strong despite our tired body of sleepless nights, together we endure the hungriness and thirst, and together we found our way back home.

Few months later we parted our ways again. Surprisingly we both got a pet dog and having the same interests bond us more. Riding together on our motorcycle is one of our favorite bonding. Non-stop storytelling over a food trip is our habit. Going on an outing with our lovely pets is our family bonding. Having real and true friends is one of the wonderful gifts we can ever have. Friends should not only be there whenever you are happy and fine because real friends support and comfort one another on the toughest moment of their lives.
