ColorChallenge Thursday Green: Premo's Eyes
It was the perfect summer day. The sun, heat and rain the past weeks had been just the right cocktail to produce this exquisite splash of green carpet that lay before him.
I saw him staring at the ground...the sleek, black, hunter intent on his imaginary prey.
I knew they were green, but today, the bright grass leaves seemed to be absorbed into his eyes.
Finally, he sought out his bed and cuddled with his beloved angel-dolly.
It had been a good day.
Now it was time to rest those emerald eyes.

One of most self-actualized cats I've ever known! He knows all about the outside and has perfect indoor manners.
As a kitten he was the explorer - 1st out with his eyes wide open, 1st to venture from the 'kitty room' and into the living room to lie on @trishie's legs and watch scifi on tv.
As the adult he comes and goes as he pleases, practically never finds himself in a fight (he runs well), and is as cuddly a friend as you could ask for.
