ColorChallenge TuesdayOrange - The Big Orange
I've never done TuesdayOrange before.
There's a first time for everything says the axiom but there are no unwritten rules of wisdom against breaking the ice with something big.
In this case, what is big is the three stories high and forty feet in diameter Gibeau Orange Julep.
And where you'll find ice, might be in the sweetened, milky, and delicious Gibeau orange juice you'd order there.
You may have guessed it by now but, in case you haven't, this is a sphere made out of concrete and covered with fiberglass that holds a fast food restaurant.
It is located in the Canadian city of Montreal.
Also known as the OJ, it's the only Big Orange remaining from what was once a fast-food chain that saw several of their eatery taking this form.
The brand was created in 1932 but the building was constructed in 1945 and then rebuilt larger in 1966.
Ordering and food serving used to be done by roller skating waitresses, but not anymore, and today the large parking regularly hosts motorbike and classic car meetups.
For reference, it is a tiny competitor to Orange Julius, an American Chain made up of approximately 5,700 points of sale. This other trademark is owned by Dairy Queen which is a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway.

I've gone by so many times but not gone in.
There is no space for eating inside, only picnic tables outside. I think most, if not all, of the interior is reserved for the restaurant employees because I don't remember if there are even wash rooms for the customers inside the Big Orange.
