不久前，雪州苏丹下令撤出 Shah Alam 区所有非马来文路牌，華社虽然不明所以，但也不敢违抗聖意。
没多久，又闹出几名马来人不满華人商店在回教先知诞辰前夕照常卖酒发生争执并将过程录下上传 FB 的事件。
东马貌似和谐，可是一谈到土著特权，当地華人和土著的观点就南辕北辙了。
东马華人争取独立，争取英语教学。东马土著却更倾向于在现有框架下增加自己的权益而不是寻求政治独立; 在语文上也相当接受马来文霸权，对恢复公立学校英语教育也并不热衷，这一点从东马基督教土著普遍采用马来文聖经就可看出端倪。
脆弱的种族神经，这就是马来西亚。
