Somewhere over the rainbow...
... lies Funchal, the capital of Madeira Island, one of the islands of Portugal. Due to its geographical location, it has a pretty mild climate, and it does rain frequently. And with rain, comes rainbows!
This photo was taken in one of the many viewpoints of the island, whose name unfortunately I can't recall. Funchal gathers a mix of houses and buildings, that spread down from the vast slopes right until the sea.
If you don't know Madeira yet... place it on you places to visit list! Since this is my entry to today's cityscapephotography contest, the photos are from the capital Funchal; but between the gastronomy, landscapes, the Levadas... you won't be disappointed!

It reminds me somehow my little island Puerto Rico!
It sure is worth a visit! Still don't know Puerto Rico, but pretty sure the water is warmer there thow :)
