Say Hello To The CIA On Instagram

The CIA has been regarded as a threat to the rule of law in the United States and to the people, by various legal experts, politicians, and critics. Lawmakers have previously criticized the organization's unbridled power, the power to even undermine presidencies overseas. It is an intelligence community which some libertarians have suggested should come to an end because of all the chaos it fuels both at home and around the world.

This is an organization which has been blamed for fueling instability and war, and for initiating unimaginable violence against many innocent people.

It stomps out individual liberty and in-return fuels authoritarianism and war. It has arguably favored abuses of power and performed miserably in attempting to generate usable intelligence with its methods. The intelligence that it has gathered in the past has been alleged to often be inaccurate, misleading, wrong, and harmful.

It's alleged that the CIA has been involved in working to overthrow governments worldwide, including those in Afghanistan, Ecuador, Venezuela, Iraq, Haiti, Libya, and Ukraine.

Needless to say, they've been busy, and among those priorities they've adopted is a focus for more attention paid to their social media presence.

Just recently, the CIA has recently decided to join instagram in launching their official account.

They've previously indicated that they are looking to build out their presence on the platform, they've already got accounts on both Twitter and Facebook.

They're allegedly trying to increase transparency, but it's doubtful that we'll be getting an honest glimpse into the real nature of the agency.

In just a few weeks they've already managed to amass tens of thousands of followers.

According to the agency, through Instagram they will be looking to share more about CIA stories, and using it to possibly recruit talented individuals to join the agency.
